Mystril : How do you spell "Shilien" ? - Retail Forum Archives

Yes it may sound stupid but i'm a Role Player and i really need this information for a future clan so please dont flame me or anything...
So, how do you spell "Shilien" ? :)
The reason i'm asking is because it has different spelling throughout the Lineage II website, on the Dark Elf class desciption it is spelled "Shilien" (with one L), on the Class Transfers section it is spelled "Shillien" (with two L), and on the Game Background it is spelled "Shilen" (with one L and no I)
I dont recall how it is spelled ingame, but i'm pretty sure i've seen NPC spelling it different ways...
So, Mystril (or any other nice person at NCSoft), is there an official spelling for the Goddess Of Death ? :p

Shilen is her name
Shilien is possessive (as if "something Shilen owns")
Shillien is typo :eek:

According to the official Korean site (http://www.lineage2.co.kr/info/raceDarkelfChangejob.asp?raceNum=3&kind=2#%BD%C7%B 8%AE%BF%A3%BF%C0%B6%F3%C5%AC), it's ... all of them. :eek:

And now you know.

EDIT: For those interested, the three hangul used to write her name in Korean are pronounced roughly as "Shil-li-en". That's three syllables, not two.

Now I have to go through and change all the spellings of Shillien to Shilien :(

Oops!

I mis-read the post by Dalamarthalas. It's actually --

* Shilen as the name.

* Shillien as the descriptive/possessive. (For example, Shillien Knight.)

* Shilien is a typo.

Whew! A friend named her toon "TheShillienElder" ... would be embarrasing if she got it wrong! :D

Yes, in the Library => Races, Classes & Skills => Dark Elf, the first paragraph reads "They follow Shilien, the goddess of Death."
I'm currently reading the entire Background for my clan, so if i find any other typo, i'll let you know ! :)
