Effects of tatoos

Last night there was some talk about tats for BD's. A question arose though; my alliance-mate insists that the effect of a +3 dex -3 con and +3 str -3 con tats have different effects on hp. Anyone have experience for this? Sounded strange to me, but I don't have any evidence one way or the other.

The confusion could stem from the fact, that the same dyes have different degrees of effect on different classes (with different base stats).

Ya the tats do the same thing too all toons. Just the degree of change is dependent on the toons base stats and skills.

I would say that -3 con has always the same effect on a char, no matter if it is +dex or +str. I have both kinds of tattoos (just +4, not +3) and I lost the same amount of con for each of them.

It is of course a different story of you compare a +3 dex -3 con on a dark elf with a +3 str -3 con on a human. That is probably what led your mate to that conclusion.
