i did a search here to see if i could find the answer i'm looking for, but i didn't see anything. i also check the manual too, but that wasn't much help. anyways, i have 2 windows, i wonder why i have 2, and i see no way of getting rid of one of them. i have my main chat window on the bottom left, then directly above that in another chat window, which i cannot talk it, it just displays everything the main window does. it's not really a problem, but it just makes everything look a little packed. so if anyones knows how to hide the second chat window, please tell
The second window, the System Message window, was added in Chronicle 4. You can turn off the System Message window in the Game tab of the Options window.
Go to the game options, and uncheck System Chat (I think it's the name).
Personnally I change the config of the bottom one to only show player chat, so on the top one I have system chat and damage chat, and on the bottom one I only see what people tell.
I don't miss a PM because someone PMed me while I was fighting anymore.
That little window is a system message window you can turn that small one off by going into your system menu, options, and click on the game tab, and uncheck the box for system message window.
and if you go in the options of the lower (main) window, you can turn off system messages... so you will split chat in lower one, system (damage, ss sp and so on) on the higher one ^^
