L2 Day event drop... 1x or 4x?

Hey Peeps.... I have a 39 dark wiz ^^ and was hunting 1x hp mobs after the downtime when they seemed to decrease drop rate of letters. But I got nothing. Then I went to cata and started getting some but kill lot slower and rest a lot longer. Any of u who normally kill 1x hp mobs during this event was I just unlucky or do u almost never get any drop ??? Should I stay in cata or go out in the wild for the 1x hp ??

kill something very fast.

repeatedly.

letters seem to drop 1/12 on light blue, 1/10-1/20 depending on letter for greens, 1/12-1/30 depending on letter for white, and 1/20-1/40 for yello, and its just too hard to do it to reds.
