Armor question

Hi all,
If I give my new character (lvl 10) my old Mithril suit (D grade) what exactly is the penalty? I know with a weapon you "to hit" goes way down...but I noticed with the armor, I move very slowly, is there anything else it penalizes? Should I just stick with a NG set?

just stick with a NG set :)

For armor, you lose movement speed and attack speed.
For weapons, you lose accuracy and have greatly increased chance of spell failure.

A new side effect is that you don't get the SA.
