The first annual players crying event!
A new server will be set up ( temporary folks, dont get your hopes up ) for people to cry about the lack of events, or about how much they think events suck!
Then the new server will be deleted and never spoken of again.
This event is ok, the hours suck and so do the drops and reward %. I can see the people with +15 A grade are going to get the best stuff.
I haven't gotten a single II yet and no way I'm spending 2 mil for one. I did turn in Chronicle and NCsoft about 4 times each. Didn't get the one buff scroll I wanted, empower. Got one Blessed scape but I don't use them. Not that valuable to sell.
I still have my hopes up that I can actually get some thing of value out of at least 1 event. Got my fingers crossed for an Ant Queen Ring. Hopefully I'll get an II some day.
As for the Sever VS. Server, we did ask for it long ago. It's not very inclusive for most players but we can all root for our server. I do think they should have another event for all players while this goes on.
If they do I'd say there event time is very succesfull. If they only have the PVP event I'd say they passed but barly.
I haven't even gotten one enchant scroll yet and BTW NCsoft, it's just freaking mean to base event rewards on level.
Seeing we got the letter event again, I sure hope we don't get that lame find-the-bunnies event again from last year.
The battletournament is a step in the good direction, but still don't know why it took more then a year before we got it. Downside of the battletournament is that its very limited to the amount of ppl that can participate. The alliance I'm in alone could already make 5 teams of 76+ ppl. More ppl should be able to participate imho.
I didnt mind the bunnies but I got lucky and found 2 sets.
Man I am trying but it's really hard to explain how I feal about kill and collect events without getting this thread locked. I just dont understand why they make it so hard to collect some letters. The same accounts they try to prevent from abusing the event are the same ones that benefit from the nerf.
Sure I like collecting the letters its nice to see something else drop from the mobs I hunt. But I would like to know I will have a chance at turning in a majority of the letters and not just a tiny portion.
I personaly dont know anyone who has enough spare adena to bye II for 900k-1.5mil for a tiny chance at a ring. Its about the same chance as getting the uber drop from your favorite grind mob. But you only get to kill 1 or 2 of those mobs and if you pay enough adena you can kill 1 more.
The Battle event is a good idea but limited. I hope the people who participate have a great time and it turns out to be success. Then maybe next time it comes around I will be in a position to participate.
Ugh and I already dared to hope that the "lawl" sayers all died from their own linguistic incompetence. >_<
I like the letter event... found a II after a couple hours hunting solo and turned in LineageII and Chronicle at the end of the day. Got some lame scrolls and 3 bsoe... nothing great... but 3 bsoe are 3 bsoe... 3 scrolls I would have had to pay for otherwise.
So... I don't see anything bad about free stuff without extra effort... and if your only complaint is that others might get more... meh. Happiness doesn't come from competitive thinking.

I like the event. Makes the game more fun, I get some stuff I would not have other wise gotten. Thanks, NCSoft, your efforts are appreciated.
What I don't like, if I may opine here, is the complaining and whining. Of course that is NOT NCSoft's fault at all, but it irks me that some people seem to think that they appear wise or mature if they complain. Ahhh well, here I am complaining about complaining, proving that I am neither wise nor mature...condemned by my own judgments! Argh, the log in my eye, I cannot see the mote in yours!
actually i like the event... mainly because it hasn't (from what I can tell) dropped a lot of echants on the market... I really feared it would. I have gotten quite a few enchant d, but none of the higher ones... I've gotten a few good things from the event... a few worthless scrolls, but I haven't spent a dime on the letters.
Although I have to ask what the point of having L2day scrolls for ww/haste/acumen. All of these things are bottled already... scrolls for guidance/emp/evasion atleast aren't bottled. It would be nice to see a VR scroll, but I haven't heard of one yet.

I was totally for the event, I did not play the one last year, so this is new to me. The drop rate for certain letters suck big. I played all weekend and I'm not just saying a couple hours a day I mean with a 5 hour break to sleep, Friday,Saturday and most of Sunday. I managed to get 1 II and 1 S. Event is great the drop rate blows!!!
well it will be a april fools joke event just liek last year of course tho i loved the bunnies it wasent about people with programs that get it it was people who could think and were lucky ( and fast eneugf to beat the farmers) the third partys will find it but not as fast as a person last bunny event got me a strider :) i <3 bunnies
Ok whats really freaking strange is I read last night about a movie maker event. It was at the end of April. Now when I went to events it's not listed.
They sent my newsletter to my old email. I updated my email on my account but they haven't changed there mailing list. Oh well I still check the old one. It just getts spammed a lot.
