For the LII Day event, the seldom played SO was nominated by the 'family' to do the fastest possible killing to gain letters for a day. East of Dion was perfect for a lvl 22, everything was one shot when using bsps and mana breaks were rare.
But there is always the possibility of Reds near Dion, so another family member logged out nearby to be ready if needed.
Sure enough, after a few hours a much higher level red killed the SO, no drops, thanks Shillien. The TH logged in and, blessings, soon was attacked by the red. The battle was brief and successful. A quick run to Floran and the red is spotted again, same result and potion drops. Then caught them coming out of Floran, another kill! Several more hunts and fights later, the red knows they cannot win and accepts delevelling voluntarily. Thirty eight deaths it takes, I do not lie! All their inventory drops, of course, and their weapon. AT least two levels, perhaps three. One death repayed thirty eight times, how satisfying...back to farming letters.
Later, another red....a fully equipped elf mage wearing yellow. The SO fights back, but dies, no drops again. The routine is set, the TH logs in and...blessings again, catches the elf from behind and litters the ground with their property. NG jewelry, good SE books, potions...but this red logs off, the run to Floran is in vain. One death for one death, but plus on drops.
The third and last red, late in the day. A higher level dark wizard with tags of the SP alliance. The SO fights, loses but does not drop, the TH cannot find him, looks like an unavenged death this time.
Later, the family leader is chatting with a friend in his clan and finds that the friend killed that dark wizard and got a fine drop from it...so the third death was revenged as well!
Three PKs, all revenged, what a rare and excellent outcome. Is it just luck, or is the environment for removing reds getting better?
