Bishop in A grade

What A grade armor would a bishop with a +5 wit get?

the blue wolf gives a +3 wit so i would have a +8 wit. but go get the bonouses of a grade and pvp stuff and to keep my good res what should i get?...

i was thinking tallum or DC simply b/c it has a +2 wit. but which one would b more effective for a bishop? or should i get a different set?
I personally, will more than likely be staying in Blue Wolf until A Grade has something better to offer for Bishops. I am really not impressed at all by any of the A Grade robe sets for a Bishop.

If you wanted an A Grade set, I would go either Tallum or DC. The no +mp kinda hurts, but if you can land a mana up special ability weapon, you should be set. I believe you can get away with only +2 Wit as long as you have a +5 Wit tatoo, with the lvl 7 rez, you should still be able to get max return.
if u have +5 WIT, majestic is alot better than BW..

Bishop with Majestic robe with +5 WiT will have 89,9% res... and 90% is max..

u will get faster cast speed and mana regen and stun res

but helmet is expensive
I would still rather go with Dark Crystal. The stun resist doest really come into play unless you have a tank train on you. In that case, your dead anyway. Paralysis Resist is much better imo. Plus you will get a speed bonus, and a bonus to your pdef.

In PvP, mana regen really has no play at all. When you PvP, you have one full mana bar, then ur done. People do way too much damage for regen to affect the outcome.
Dark Crystal + the +WIT dye kills the MP regen speed of a bishop
DC seems liek it be put to better use anyway with all the new Necro rerolls
Majestic is overall best choice. Cast speed, mp regen and stun resist. The other sets just plain don't stack up as well. The majestic set works noticeably better then BW and does fine for pvp. Tallum doesn't offer anything cept m.def and cast speed, DC offers resist paralyze, cast speed and p.def. Since DC and Maj helmets are both expensive, I would definately go with the Majestic. It simply has the best all around stats for buffers/healers in most applications.
in an overall pvp situation i have not yet regend my mana all the way full...it takes mages a little bit of time to kill cus i can cure myself faster than they can kill me. i have forgotten some of the plusses i have with bw that i will loose like my mana regen and the +206 mp so i guess the DC would kill my regen cus i would have a +7 wit but a -7 men. on the battlefield i have rarely seen anyone get para.
if i go tallum i would get a -2 int how bad would that hurt me?
maj would only help me if i already had the max base res..correct me if i am wrong with my bw, and +5 wit and a base res at 50% my res is at 70% w/o the bw and in maj i have no idea what my res would b w/o bw and a 55% base and a +5 wit.
MEN is over rated, I'm at -7 MEN in DC robes and can't remember the last time I ran out of mana in pve.
the - mdef might pose a bigger problem though, but the castspeed is just too nice (plus DC looks best of all A sets, period)

Question: Does INT affect youre healing/rez? And why go -Men..I would have figured a Bishop would go for +wit and +men, not -men, sense men gives ya mp, mp regain and mdef too. Oo
Healer classes can only Minus from Men to increase Wit. We aren't allowed to touch Int. Other wise im positive everyone would do -Int +Wit + men... but thatd be to nice I suppose T.T
Go majestic, the extra MP, regen, and stun resist far far outweighs para resist. DC gives you slightly less mp than BW and not as good WIT, so why bother. Tallum is ok I guess but the resists suck.

Besides, when was the last time you died from para? My deaths go STUN, death. PVP deaths that is. Even if it's ugly as sin on humans... ;)

Ouch, that is very..[censored]? >< dont see why you arnt allowed to use -int..
you cannot touch your INT with dyes, but any armor bonuses that affect it will still work. and in response to an earlier question, the -INT will not hurt your heals all that much and INT has absolutely no effect on rez (only WIT does).

Mhm, if you have BW and think about going A grade, DC does not give enough "bang" for the adena. I mean, you are looking at 90m for the helmet and 25m for the robes, plus another 10-15 for gloves+boots (Hinde prices). And what do you get for it? More pdef, a bit more casting speed, para resist and LESS mp. Good deal? Don't think so. DC is not really an "upgrade", you just move some stats around and get para resist. Majestic on the other hand is a real upgrade, but it costs even more than DC...

If you can craft, it does not matter that much of course. But I still would prefer majestic over DC. If you pvp a lot against necros, DC might be a good choice though :)

It really depends if you do more pvp or more pve, I guess.
First off, there's no reason you can't keep BW for PVE or rezzes or w/e. It'll just take you a week or two longer to make up the money, if you were counting on selling your BW set to afford A-grade.

In all my time as a healer, the thing I hated most was stun. Anyone who had stun tried to stun me. Archers, tanks, dwarves, whoever. Stun the healer and you've killed them. It is so frustrating and was my number one concern in pvp. Paralysis is rare in PvP, even in PvE I've rarely been in a situation where the whole party went down because I got para'd.

I mean, DC does have some good stuff for PvP, you get a little bit of extra speed, a little extra pdef, extra cast speed - but I'd give all that up just to get the 50% stun resistance of Majestic.

Yep. And that's exactly what my bishop clannie did (keep BW and get majestic), and what I would do if I played a bishop. I mean, you have to keep the BW set anyway until you have the full majestic set.
Well a little side note... from Greater Resurrection 7 and furter you would need only 26 WIT to max resurrection. Every Bishop has at least +4 WIT tattoos (or +5), so only 1 or 2 points needed to max. I've +5 tattoos and keep Elven mithril set for that +1 (equip only for resurrection). Cheap solution, compared to dragging BW with ya.
Basically that makes any other A set than Majestetic pretty ineffective choice. Res can be maximized without A-grade set bonuses... and on other bonus comparison Majestetic wins DC and Tallum any day.
I used to think that the tallum SA of resist poison/bleed was pretty worthless.

So, here I am in dc, hunting in FOD. Bleeding at every 3rd mob..

:(
That's why we have vitalize. And purify.

The only bonus tallum has over maj is it's far far cheaper. And not nearly as ugly. But I'm soooo close to completing majestic now, cannot WAIT :)
