Dawn won again, as usual, but we only had 32% vote for Seal of Gnosis, and we did not retain it. Since Dawn owned it last period, we expected to only need 10% to retain the seal.
- If a Seal was already closed or owned by the opponent and the new winner wants to assume ownership of the Seal, 35% or more of the members of the Cabal must have chosen the Seal. If they chose less than 35%, they cannot own the Seal.
- If the Seal was owned by the winner in the previous Seven Signs, they can retain that seal if 10% or more members have chosen it. If they want to possess a new Seal, at least 35% of the members of the Cabal must have chosen the new Seal.
Last time Dawn won, and the seal of Gnosis and Averice were broken
This time Dawn won, Averace had about 45%, Gnosis about 30%, Strife about 25%.

How the losing side voted should, according to the rules on the official site, be completely irrelevant. Only the votes of the winning side should count. If you do not have a seal, you need 35%. If you already have a seal, you only need 10% to keep it. That's what the rules say (if you needed 35% to keep a seal, you could never have all three active at the same time, because 3*35=105...). Also, if you look at the graphs, there is a lighter and a darker area in the bar graphs for each seal, which shows how "far" the votes have to go to get/keep the seal.

They really need to change the graphics for the votes. There are still people who tell me each competition period "wow, dusk will win gnosis this time, they have more votes than dawn!". Just make two graphics, one for dusk and one for dawn, so that it becomes more obvious that the votes for dusk and dawn are totally independant and do not influence each other.
They changed the end time from 9pm CST to 6pm. Last monday the end of the period it went straight to validation period. They basicly restarted the 7signs and everything was 35% vote required instead of usual 10%. Just simply not enough votes to push it to 35%. Yeah going to suck cause no Catacombs or BS for a week lol

Well if it was a restart, they didn't tell anyone the consequences. NCSoft, plrase fix this bug.
What ticks me off is they apologised for the inconvenience of the time change but made absolutely NO mention that it had been restarted, if indeed this is the case.
/signed that NCSoft should restart the server and give dawn control or should personally change out everyone's weapon who wanted to use the service for the entire week.
This is not a loss of 15 mins playing time from a rollback kind of issue. This is something that is going to affect players for a minimum of 2 weeks.
/Edit Maybe they'll fix it during the maintenance. Guess I should reserve my flames until then.
