I want to use my Duals on my Elven Scout (taking from my other char) b/c I can't afford a dagger at he moment can I use duals and still use the skill strike together? or can I only use that skill with one sword?
Power strike only works with single sword. Try selling your duals, and getting a mithril dagger. That will allow you to use all your skills and abilities.
actualy my Duals are for another char of mine and I need them I just thought it was cheaper to use them on my scout cuz I don't have the money right now to buy her a weapon but for sure we know that strike wont work with Duals then and blunt for sure wont b/c it's for daggers and blunt weapons right? what do duals usually go for? mine are a knight/crimson duals
I used duals on my rogue, it works well up to like level 35, not very efficent but it works... Also allows to stick on VS & ACC toggles as well as use that spare MP for elemental heal.
I´ve read about the bladesingers. This class fights primary with the dual swords. But when I look at the skill´s it seems, this class is a good suporter, but no standalone, and damage dealing figther.
Am I right? If it´s so, should I prefer to play a sihilen knight, as an standalone fighter?
In my opinion, a fighter with an dual weapon doesn´t use a shield. So he has to do more damage than shielded classes. Otherwise it doesn´t make any sence to abstain from a shield and take more damage.
So is a bladedancer a damagedealer, or a supporter?
BD has good damage output, definatly higher then a SK. BD deals greater damage then a SK, but cant take the hits. A BD also can use his dances to improve his parties stats. However if you want the best dual sword class, then you must follow the path of the Gladiator.
I think those "class x is better than..." discusions doesn´t make much sence. But a second question about the bladedancer:
How does the dancing function? Can I only use one dance at the same time? Wenn I am dancing, can I still fight, or am I paralysed for the duration of the dance? Did the buff count for me, too?
You can use as many dances as your MP can handle. Just be sure that The amount of mana you use for your dances </= ( less then or equal to =p ) the amount of mana you regen during the time that you have off dacnes. ANd no you cant fight while you dance, but it only takes about 1.5 sec to dances =] ( each dance that is. )
ANd im just trying to chide SPS cause i find it fun to do taht to him =p
It's a loose term for the "dances". You can put as many as you like up (mana permitting) but here are a few answers:
-The dances aren't real dances, just 2 second animations, the actual buff lasts 2 minutes
-The more dances that are currently running, the more mana you use for everytime you add a new dance (the MP cost multiplies)
-You are not paralysed, you do a 2 second uninterruptable animation, then your good to go for the remainder of the buff.
-All the dances sound cool, but the only ones worth it are

Fire-Critical Dmg
Fury-Haste (stacks with GSAP or Prophet Haste)
Mystic-M.Atk
Concentration-Acumen
Vampire-Much later levels, but a strong VR that stacks with real VR
Ohh... i thought a bladedancer fights like he´s/she´s dancing with her blades. So the animation of fighting would look like a swirling, bladeswinging, fleet-footed Fighter.
But a 2Sek animation, and than normal fight ist really disapointing.
All the BD has to do is freezing strike and kite you with drains, and if hex/powerbreak lands, well then they can do some fighting as well. Not to mention the fact that we can land poisen as well, Mr.600 m.def.
Duals swords are a seperate weapon from single swords. You can only get these from D grade and above. Click on "The Libary" link in the box on the left of the screen, then go and look in the weapons section, click on dual swords and have a ganders. Only certain swords are available in a Dualed form.
How much do Duals go for for selling? again I'm in the Seig server and my duals are the crimson I didn't buy them from someone so I'm not sure on the price I traded for the Duals!
On bartz i can make them using store brought items only for about 1.9million adena. This is however depending on the tax rate. Usually top D duals are worth from 1.7-2million. In contrast a top D weapon, like the mithril dagger is usually worth 2.6m-3.5million.
