Visit Black Judge. He sends you to Magister Joan in Ivory tower. Magister Joan sends you to kill three trisillim (SP?) tarantulas in sea of spores. Return to Joan. Return to Black judge. He sends you to Blacksmith in Giran. Blacksmith gives you a list of ingredients you need to collect. Collect them then return to Blacksmith. Blacksmith crafts manacles for you... they are now a quest item which can't be used. Return to Black Judge. He starts you on your penance. Now your manacles are an inventory item which can be used. Go hunt in your regular area, while the sin eater is summoned. Sin eater will consume 100% of your xp, (not party xp). Remeber to have food for pet wolves to feed the sin eater. When the sin eater is at least 1 level higher than you, you can turn it back in to the black judge and a random number (1-10) pk's will be washed from your soul...

I think this varies on char level or at least on the position of the Black Judge. As my lvl 20 did not have to go to SoS to kill anything. Started at South entrance to wastelands. At least I don't recall going there...
I hear that it is possible to use your sin eater to get to 0 PK's then when needed again finish just part of the quest and you can use your sin eater again.. HOW?
I lost my last 8 PK's with my sin eater. Now I have manacles that only weigh 50. I got afew more PK's went to do the quest of killing the tarantulas and finished, got a quest finishing sound but nothing new happened. In fact all that did happen is I lost the repent your sins quest. How do I start my Sin Eater back up?
