Ok I know dorfs are in it for the profit but I'm tired of my shots firing duds. It's taking longer to kill a mob, costing more mp, and sometimes gets me and my pet killed. So please stop using 2nd rate materials and craft only the good shots. I mean you're making enough money to at least increase the consistency of the shots but a dud shot at every 5th-6th shot is just ridiculous. Also dying will either set us back in xp or adena but either way it takes time. Anway, this is a petition to get the dorfs to start crafting better with materials.
Oh yeah, please use waterproof mats for compressed shots. I had to swim across this lake and the shots absorbed all the water. Needless to say they blew up like marshmallows, I got trapped under them, and as a result I was crushed to death. BTW the place is now a desert.

whenever i craft a-ss useing soul ore instead of crystals they always come out wrong
I haven't had the problem but I've heard that some merchants are selling sub standard potions. You take them and instead of immediate effects, they take effect later, sometimes too late!
Maybe we should start a list of 'trustworthy stores' that sell potions that don't delay!

It's sort of a "role play way" of expressing his displeasure with the item lag. If this were a real world and you couldn't use a shot or if it took a long time to load it would have to be attributed to something.
This Item lag has almot killed me a couple of times. Heck... I've even rethought attacking a group of say... 6 mobs because I felt that if the shots failed once I would be toast.
As far as faulty shots? I chalk it up to evil spirits from Mars.

Whats as bad are poorly done scrolls of escape, nothing like trying to decipher magical words when you are in a hurry, "exisi...eh...exisil...uhm...what the hell does it say...argh I am being trained"...

Teon suffers from it from time to time too Mistryl. It's kinda neat looking when the SS finally go off and you get 100 SS animations played at the same time, real fireworks on a weapon I'd say >.>

It's certainly on erica, I can't even hunt it's so laggy. Not that I would want to anyways.
Mistryl, it seems to be happening across all servers, It happens very often on Lionna when the server traffic is heavy(otherwise its rare).
I firmly believe that is has somthing to do with people not picking up drops. Look at places like the Festivals, when they are being actively fought over, there are hundreds of piles of adena in each and every one, the problem is its pointless to pick up those piles in there. The same can and has happened in the Rift Dimension areas also. Nukers tend to leave adena and mats everywhere while they are hunting, and only clean up when its time to leave, or they are low on MP. I'd love to see autoloot for mob drops(not player drops, that would be bad), that could help some of the problems. Item decay if not picked up after X amount of time could help too.

It's not just shot/potion, it's all items. I leveled a duoing pair of de mystics two weeks back. I bought one set of gear and dropped it back and forth to switch items. Sometimes you can drag items onto the ground, click ok to drop, and they still don't drop. No message that the item is being dropped too far away. Then 5 seconds later the item flings out of your inventory. Is my computer lagging? No, I can still SHOOT monsters with windstrike. During these blips it won't run spiritshots while I nuke though. They are simply time lapses where item inventory doesn't work. And I've tried installing L2 on another computer through a different ISP. Having a friend play my 2box and chatting on a cell phone, these incidents occur at the SAME TIME for both of us. Not just once or twice, but at least 4 or 5 times per 20 minute buff round.

As said previously it is happening on Lionna as well.. I've noticed it happeneing most when those "Broad messages from up high" get posted server wide.. you know those dreadfully annoying ones like " The Olimpiad has started " and the sound affect of a shot going off when it on "The Olimpiad has ended" message is done.
Personaly I realy wish players had the option of toggle swith turning all of those messages off.. besides the possible lag spike they might be causing.. they are more than mildly annoying. I dont mind the one at initial log in.. but after that, it is starting to realy become a problem duirng ingame communication, as well as the possible bug mentioned above. If one is not 75+ on there main, and have a 70+ subclass.. I realy don't see why one would be even interested in the olimpiad. So please give us the option of turning those unpleasant messages off. That way those who do care.. can still get there "interuptions" of play. While those of us who dont wont have 7 critters on them popping heal pots and trying to spam shots leaving us as a cold dead corpse on the ground. This is especialy obvious for those of us that explore deep inside Devils Isle, with the new AI of the critters in there. Lag kills in there.. big time. Esspeicaly at the puppets. I love the new AI challenges.. but bugs like this realy need to go.

Gustin. I thought it was because I didn't know the class. Just started a n00b archer and thought maybe there was something about archers I didn't know. Now that i read this thread it makes sense.
