There are so many europeans on the US Servers. I think NCsoft should change castle siege times and olypmiade times a litte bit, so that it is more atractiv for europeans. I know there are a european server, but before this server go live many europeans already start to play this game.
If i look the castle siege times on Teon, they r between 9am - 1pm and on US Server between 4pm - 8pm. That means that the sieges start on US Server in the afternoon till evening. On Teon the Sieges start on morning - in the afternoon.
I vote for castle sieges on US Server like Arizona timezon between 10am - 2pm.
At the moment olypmiade times for europeans between 2am - 6am (London time) and that sucks really. I think this time must change totally, coz europeans have no change to get a hero except do u are have no work, no school, no uni and no friends.

Hi, I'm an American. I'm almost as far west as you can get and still be in an American time zone.
Do not touch our times. Teon was created for Europeans that wanted their own siege times. Add another European server if that one is too full, but leave my siege times alone. I like them just fine where they are.
Well firstly I will say that the siege times have already been changed to be 2 hours earlier than they previously were. When NC moved their times from PST to CST everything became 2hours earlier, except downtime which was rescheduled.
Whether this change by NC was done partly to help accomodate Europeans who knows, but it was a necessary and welcome change.
As for American players telling Europeans to leave their servers and go to Teon. It's not possible, Teon is extremely popular and would never house all the Europeans. Not to mention giving up on 2years work is not something you can realistically ask of someone. Especially since those people were forced onto American servers when the game was released worldwide. Around that time rumours of character transfer were rife, so most Europeans believed if they wanted to move later they could.
As long as NC recognises there are a great deal of Europeans on all of their servers and not just Teon, it should be alright.

It can be easily changed so as sieges are in US night time and about morning time in europe.
Its foolish to suggest that we euro's go reroll on teon for two reasons.
1) The server is FULL, its super hard to log in.
2) Some of us were playing before Teon was created believe it or not, and we have very high level characters we dont wish to ditch.

Thats right but without europeans the most US Servers were total empty and the game total boring, so you profit from europeans, thats why we should search for a solution. Coz it`s not a US game, it`s a world game and we all should work togheter to have more fun.
Many clans blame that there are no sieges at weekend. There are two reasons.
1) the time
2) server politics

I tell you what. Keep playing for 2years, get a decent level character and friends, then move to a new server and start all over again with nothing.

This game was brought to "North America" in order to widen NC's market.
It's the "North American version". Only later was a Europen server added.
It's as if a company only made cars that were made for left side of the road driving and US people buying them but then complaining that the steering wheel was on the wrong side.
This was made for North American Audience. Now, though a Euro server was added, it is more than likely that it is not enough.
What should be done is that a more Euro servers should be added and maybe even made available in Europe to help connection issues.
Though having said that, there are games that are open to the US that have servers elsewhere (rhyzom comes to mind)
But there is no need to change times on already existing North American (or just American) servers since this was the initial target audience.
I am sorry, neither the box Lineage 2 comes in says so, nor was it limited to just American sales.
You are right. But they created the NA American office so that they could spread their market share in North America.
Either way, if you are going to have an online game open to different parts of the world and there are in-game events that are time specific then the only way to be fair is to have servers catering to different time zones.

The times are already acceptable for me in the UK, i have to be up at 9am for a siege but that isnt much hassle. If this was an American game why were NCsoft advertising in the UK before Teon was even released?

they have said a long *** time ago that they would implement server transfers which never came and don't think it will ever come but people got their chars to really high lvls before teon was ever created and I don't think everyone just wants to reroll an a new server to lose months/year of work.
so yes I think they should at least make the olympiad a little bit more euro friendly.

What we europeans have from a new euroserver? Nothing! Nobody would start on this new server, who has a lv75+ char.
btw, the teon server is a bad joke. its a european server, which is located in US. That means we have total bad connection to this server ~ 200 ping. We need a euroserver in europe, like Germany, UK with a ~ 15 ping.

Well, if that is the case then that is not right. If they indeed were to be opening up the game to Europeans in the first place then they did (in my opinion) a shoddy job of it.
Though one could make the argument that anyone from Europe made the choice to play knowing that the game times were not Euro friendly. I however think that that information is usually not known until one is "in game".
