So, I've just shifted from seeding in Dion to seeding in Giran.
I recently bought a bunch of Red Cobol seeds. The type 1 reward is Charcoal and the type 2 reward is Enria. Right now Giran and Gludio award type 2 (Enria).
I'm still relatively new to the game. I'd seen shops buying and selling Enria, so I (mistakenly) assumed Enria was just another low level mat I could trade in for. However (and thank goodness for this) I didn't risk too many fruits -- just a little over 50 -- and traded in to see what I would get, quanity-wise.
The result, obviously, was nothing.
I've since looked up Enria and I see it is worth 12,000a in the shops.
So, here's my questions:
To be clear, if a reward is worth 12,000a in the shops and the seeds to generate the fruit that earn that reward cost 100a, does that mean you have to turn in 120 Red Cobol fruits to earn 1 Enria?
Second question: are the 50 fruits I turned in 'lost' or will Giran maintain a sort of invisible count for my character, such that turning in 70 more fruits will then yield me 1 Enria?
The store price of enrria is 9k (i think). You need to turn in enoughf crops to get it. If the reward is 100 then it's 90 crops for 1 enria. Also, if you turn in 10k, 14k, or 17.9k worth of crops you still will get 1 enria. So make shure the reward you are getting is dividable by 9k.
Another question, you are on lionna? I think i saw you posting in Lianna's forum. Then you wil be better of with chilly cobols. You will get a little less crops, but the market price on those is soo much higher then on enria. (bones npc prise is 150a, they are sold for 800-900 or more. steell base price is 2k and they are sold for 10-12k averege)
The trick to those kinds of seeds is to find the mobs that will give you 3-6 fruit per mob. One thing to remember is that you can seed those fruits in seperate area's on a good mob, and then just turn them in wherever you want.

Gorogones garden avereged me 2-2.5 crops per mob. It's also aprety good spot for med-30th player. Too bad i was never able to turn those in at that time =( then enria was around 20k each. Now that almost 1k crops is in my WH waiting for better times :p.
Ledaa: I see what you mean about Chilly's... I'll try those for my next batch of seeds. However, thank you for clarifying the turn-in issue! Question: you mention Enria at 9k, but Stratics list Enria at 12k. How do I *know* what something is valued at before deciding how much fruit to trade in? Is there some 'universal' mat shop-price list I can refer to?
Sean: I hear ya! I'm no stranger to hoarding mats for better days. Like varnish. Sometimes people buy varnish at 900 to 1000 each, and other times I can remember seeing varnish buy back prices dropping to as low as 300ish. One thing I learned from Kiriana is patience (aka, the art of hoarding). XD
Thanks again, you two, and if either of you (or anyone else) knows where to find a universal shop-price list for mats that would be wicked helpful. :)
The material price is the price that material would sell for if you sell it to a NPC shop. So, take 1 enria, go to a NPC, "Sell" and see what price it is. Then just check whats the reward price and divide the NPC price with that and you got the amount of fruits needed.

Enria is 12,000a. At 100a per crop, you would need 120 to get anything. The crops you turned in earlier are lost.
If you sell to any manor other than the one you are standing in, a fee will be charged for the sale. It isn't much, and is way less than transporting to the other manor.
