Is there anyway to turn off some people avatar pictures or block them? Some people have really ugly ones that offend my eyes.

I looked but i only saw an option to turn them all off, i still want to see some, just others look horrible, theres one i see often, i wont say who, but it looks like sid the sloth from ice age.
