Annihilation will be dissolving. I am not quitting and DTF is stay around. We got no plans for Alliances but we plan to siege when invited and other events.
I basically decided being an alliance leader isn't for me. I don't have the time and will to put into it and I have fallen behind on my clans needs.
Being part of this alliance changed my view of lineage, by far the most fun times were had with my former allies.
It was an alliance to be proud to be part of, one that Worked well together but had a hell of a time doing it.
The following is a speach made by one of the alliance members on the alliance forums, i'll leave his name out so he doesnt get all embarrased about it :x
Although we are breaking up, Id like to say some words for Tsin and all of my brothers and sisters that were a part of Annihilation. I will always value the good times we had in this alliance. Of the few alliances Ive been in this one was the most fun and will be the most memorable. Ive met people I consider good friends and hope to keep in contact w/ thru vent, the forums, the game, and/or through email. Tsin, I completely respect and agree with your decision. How ally leaders handle all of the BS of L2 politics and keep their sanity escapes me. However, you handled it well and respectfully. You were, and will continue to be, a great leader and a good friend. To everyone, do not look at this as goodbye. Look at it as; Ill see you tomorrow. Whether we join new alliances, join another alliance together, or just do our own things, we are all still friends and will still be here. Well always have our memories, our screenshots, and Tsins fraps videos of all the fun times we had together. Ill remember the Necro that died to a dark blue mob. Ill remember the farmer killing Silver Ranger whose real voice remains a mystery to us all. The Spellsinger that Hyrdo Blasts while wearing granny panties. The Hawkeye that soloed six BlackHandElite. The Warlock that pwned before C4 pet SS and showed us all the power of Karate Cat. Ill remember Raptorcore and Asuran bowing to The Muscle. Ill remember that ridiculous Warlord that looked like an oreo cookie. That rerolling punk [censored] that cant seem to get his computer fixed. Ill remember my twin BD in arms, but silently remember, If only we had a tank. Ill remember that Swede Gladiator that stayed up until 4am to siege and PvP with us. Ill think of that Silver Ranger with the hot voice and the enormous heart. Ill remember the disastrous and persevering night that we traveled together to the Heart of Antaras Lair. Ill remember Tsins shock when Katcults summon pulled all the mobs of AL towards him. Ill always cherish that moment when the gates of Gludio flew open, and Annihilation wiped the floor with BlackHandElite, representing til the last. Ill remember the complaints of Zerg, and smile at the other eight people standing beside me. Ill always remember that its only kinky when a chicken is involved. Ill watch our siege videos and smile, remembering that we always were a force to be reckoned with. People will not look at this moment and say Goodbye Annihilation. Theyll say Good fight Annihilation.
Tsin, you have always been respected and admired by our alliance as a great leader in times of war and peace. I think that much of Sacrosanct will be disappointed in the break up of Annihilation, but as Sacrosanct also no longer exists, it just seems the time for some re-organization. Thanks for letting the lez dwarfy hang with you guys and taking us into your hearts and circle of friendship.
To Sheilah, thanks for posting that post, it reminds me of the fun times that we have had in the past, and I hope continue to have, I hope that "BD to be unnamed" knows how much of an impact that statement has made.
Best of luck to DTF and all of the former Annihilation clans.
