bumping within 5 minutes . . . tsk tsk

to craft you'll need recipies and materials so to get started, get to farming creatures.

as for making money . . . thats an art to its own . . . one I haven't figured out yet . . . but if you want to know how to spend money . . . I have lots of ways to help.
After lvl 20 you can make soul shots
Yes, after lvl 20 you can start making shots. The idea is to either buy low d grade items for as "cheaply" as you can do it and crush them for the crystals or you can buy the High D Elven jewels in Giran and crush those.

Buy soul or spirit ore (soul for soulshots and spirit for spirit shots)

That will be a start. But you must learn the market, what costs what, what is desired, what is not. Many times you will see players selling for under market value and you can buy those items and resell for higher. Collect recipes what you know people want/need.

Or, you can go the scavenger route and just collect crafting materials and sell them.
Be ready for a long hard time leveling also. My warsmith is lvl 72 and about 90% of the time I solo...

As 1 of the newest and poorest Warsmiths in game...I can tell you what NOT to do now :)
(okay...i'll make them positive suggestions)
1. Keep all your mats..don't sell them for quick adenda..put them in warehouse.
2. Put a copy of every recipe in your warehouse...don't put them in your recipe inventory just because u can. If the other copies of recipes are very low level...sell them in shops. Everyone else is getting those as well so they aren't worth much. If u get more than 1 copy of d-soul shot recipe keep them ALL in warehouse to sell later (they're always wanted and worth MUCH more to players than shop will pay you)
3. Learn to hunt AT YOUR LEVEL without constant use of SoulShot and healing potions. Light blue or green mob names.
4. Spend money on better weapon before buying better armor.
5. Around lvl 10 there is a weapon quest in starter area..do that..it gives u a weapon with a patk of about 14...and saves u money. I think it's called "diamond diamond toil and trouble" or some such.
6. Run quests so you get paid twice. Take adenda that drops from mobs and turn in whatever ur collecting for quest adenda too.
That's about it for now. Grind those mobs!
ok ty
i have just reached level 5
what skills should i get

ty
Dont get any skills until you're 10. Then get spoil and sweep and if you have more SP to spare get weapon masteries.

Then always spoil the mob when you fight it. And sweep if it turns blue after it's dead.

**** straight
until you have the 2200 sp needed for spoil and sweep you arnt allowed to get any other skills
trust me spoil>>>> weapon armor masteries

Why does the elven jewels give more crystals then other D stuff. I just tried this. It worked out to 611a per crystal in Giran on Kain server. If I would buy top D weapon it comes to around 730a per crystal. I don't get it.

Edit I just checked Giran tax is only 1% today so that would explain the difference per crystal. My original question still stands though. Why crystalize top D jewelry as opposed to something else?

Thanks ^^
Actually there are lots of things you can crush to make cheap crystals. But usually I just buy stuff selling around Dion, I usually don't have a problem getting stuff for under 600 per crystal. Occasionally a person is selling something that gives you a crystal price in the 400's. Just sit with your L2 website on, and a calculator in hand, go around, and figure out price per crystal. I know lots of people who go buy from NPC shop, but in reality if you shop around, you will pretty much not run out (expecially since it takes SOOOO long to make shots when your in your lower lvls)
