If my friend flag me(and he turns purple) and he then stand close to a group of players using pole arms, will then then flag him back?.
Is there any way else that I can "force" some one to flag me......
I guess I don't have to explain what I need these informations for.... just say I need to do some sweeping in the none-personally-none-replying-population on these servers :)
It also works without a friend.
Just hit the Polearmguy right away and flag on him. He will continue to fight the mobs, and accidently hit you too and as such will flag back. Due to their helpful manner, the healers of his group will also flag, when they try to keep him alive, so you will be able to kill the healers first most likely.
Hmm, that's weird because I was in Branded and this guy started taking my mobs so I hit him while he was using his polearm. I started taking CP damage from him hitting me with his pole but he didn't flag :/
Is that something they changed in C4? Because I used to use that tactic for 100% affectiveness against the less-then-desirable hunting groups if just one person was using a polearm back in C3. Haven't been able to find any of them using poles in C4 lately to see any change, which is why I'm asking.
Not-flaggin by using poles also was in c3. I remeber we took out some guys back then with that (for the siegs guys here: we were training in apostate and some rips tried to hit us down while doing the train, we killed 3 of em before any1 of em even noticed whats happening, no1 of us flaged this way ^^)
Anyways, a nice trick is to gather some mobs, flag and stand near the mobs/dorf and hope for spoil festival :)
Which raises a question:
What happens if you kill someone that flagged on you and you did not flag back? You just get a PVP point?
Not sure about this actually. It is the case that they will take CP and HP damage while the pole user will not flag. Other than that, I do not think the pole user gets a PVP point, but rather that it is like being killed by a monster. Not sure if you can drop tho, I'll have to test it out.
If you use pole skills while a flagged person is in the AOE, you will flag, so be careful about T-Storming or whirlwinding etc.
If you say so, but like I said, I would flag, get in pole range of a dwarf using a pole and he'd flag without using a skill back in C3. Did this a few times with dwarven pole users, worked everytime, allowed me to kill quite a few groups w/o going red to free up some hunting spots for lower lvl peeps. :D
i train bots daily, only a few of em got a pole user, i see the system message "ggksjs has hit u for 40 damage" i go woot free pvp, but then hes white... ><

You are correct. I think this is a new c4 feature. Could be wrong, I never saw it in patch notes.
Make your train a simple 4 mobs instead of a huge one. Flag and stand next to the dwarf. They usually won't force logg because the train is normal room amount of mobs. The dwarf will use spoil festival to save the healers. The rest is in your hands ^^
