I'm a fan of Cruma, myself, but it's totally a personal bias. In defense of the area, it has a very wide level range, decent monster density without too much risk of overaggro, and doesn't tend to be totally swarming with bots.
It does not have tons of loot (average amounts) or monsters weak against wind.
The monsters there are 1x HP, which you're going to want if you're hunting without shots.

1x hp in cruma? you must mean the swamp...
there are 1/2 hp mobs n. of field of whispers... they are 1/2 hp and and weak to wind if i remember right... perfect for you i'd guess... (they aren't group mobs so u don't have to kill 5 in order to kill 1.
Yep, the swamp and the area near it sub-40. 40+, with shots, the tower itself is nice, but I probably should have clarified, I wouldn't want a lv28 going in expecting to two-hit things without shots :eek:
There's no way your going to get anywhere without spamming shots-- the period between downtimes will be shorter and the period during downtime will be longer without using shots. At least afford regular sps.
At 30 go to the Field of Whispers and two-shot rakuls-- you can two shot with sps and most likely one-shot with bsps.
im a 28 Dark Wiz going PS can anyone tell me where i can go solo for good xp without using bspsd till 40....

Well, I soloed most of my lvls up to around late 20s only using 3 regular shots. I think when I started they didn't have blessed because I just got used to 3 shotting mobs, resting, and then doing it again.
I will tell you that once you reach 40, using regular shots is not an option. You can use blessed shots and find mobs to "two shot", which is the best way to go.
I think at 28 you can go to Death Pass north of Giran. I believe that is where I went after the wastes. Of course, they might have changed the mob lvls.
Just remember it really doesnt matter what lvl you are, the gear can make a difference, but your main goal is to find mobs you can 2 shot. Without shots you will have to kill greens or light blue mobs and will take longer to lvl. With Bsps you can hunt higher lvl mobs. But always find mobs you can kill in 2 shots or less. I always hunt greens when xping. I use an over-hit spell as my second shot. I get more xp from greens than whites when I use over-hit.
Your lvls will come you just have to find the right place and mobs to hunt.

Exactly the same with me. I try to find greens in the Forest of the Dead and am dissapointed when I find whites
There is a place north of gludin, marked "windy hill" on your map. the mobs around this area are weak to wind, and about your level. not sure how you'll handle them, but check them out.

Be carefull there they use sleep alot and if you get slept your dead.
I dont know what weapon you have or if you have a buffer for emp. At your lvl I hunted the spiders and lizards outside gludio. I AOE nuked the groups and then had to hit the leader a second time great xp. But I had a demon fang +3 and used Bsps. It's great xp just have to be carefull not to agro to many at one time.
