Prophet Tats

I've been looking around for what type of tats to get for my prophet. I was thinking +4 Con/-4 Str, +4 Dex/-4 Str, and +4Wit/-4 Int.

Most people seem to say the first two, but +wit/-men for the last. What I would like to know is why -men(max mana, mana regen) and not -int(magic damage, I'm a prophet I don't nuke).

Presumably you are going for the all out buffer type (you dont expect to assist in fighting). -int lowers your chance to land debuffs (like root). -wit lowers your max mp. As a prophet, you'll want your root to work as much as possible, as it may well be the difference between life and death for you. As far as mp is concerned, all you need is enough to buff the party with some to spare, and a mana up weapon will give you enough for that. You will have less mp to heal, but I dont think you could easily substitute as a healer anywayz.~

Answer is simple:

You can't - (minus) your Int, no "healer/buffer" class can.
That goes for WC, OL, SE, EE, Bishop and Prophet

Also, prophets can solo with a bow when they cant find a party, I suggest you keep your strength if you want to have any possibility of soloing...

Well prophet is on a 2nd account just used as a buff bot for 2boxing/powerleveling an alt.

if its just for 2-boxing then you dont really need any tattoos excpet +wit imo...

go for +2wit -2men and +3with-3men - its the cheapest way and all you really need is fast casting so that buffs dont take forever

What is the best recommended weapon for a prophet level 40 CG? a homunkulus sword, Bow, Duals or Staff? and I'm looking for a weapon I can solo with as well as for raiding? (spare no expense)

Prophet Alt Healers:

+4 Con/-4 Str - will be able to carry more supplies, resist stun and have more hp

+4 Dex/-4 Str - will have more fun speed so less having to wait for it to catch up and have more evasion.

+4Wit/-4 men - will be able to buff you and itself faster

Solo - +4 or higher Tsu*sls duals
Party - Mana up weapon like Ghoul Staff
Duel - Homokulus w/Acumen

Homukulus is only used to buff/root faster. Its not good for soloing. +4 or higher tsu*sls duals are your best bet for soloing.

Yes, Homonkulus's sword is not good for soloing. Like all other magic weapons it has lower physical attack than figher weapons of the same value.
Few use Homonkulus's sword with conversion SA to have a lot of mana.
Some prophets use Homonkulus's sword with acumen SA to buff quicker.
Many use crystall staff (or Stick of faith starting from C4), or Ghoul's staff with mana up SA.

In your 40-es mana pool is something you'll need badly. You need all you mana to buff full group. And somewhat more than that. Here manaup/conversion comes handy.
Other than that you only root or kill mobs toe-to-toe. And root is not overused in big parties.

So bascially if I want to Solo I should go Duals but other then that if I like to raid or duo then my best bet is still to go Staff which I would like to do b/c I usually need my mana for buffing groups! If your prophet is just for buffing your main (i.e., 2-box), then the crystal staff with Bless the Body is probably your best and cheapest choice. In this situation tatoos are probably a waste of money. You already have acumen for speed.

Well I'm not worried abou money I have enough to get anything i want but my prophet is no for my main she's for my clan so when we do anything like clan raids or whenever she's needed I can just grab her! So I was thinking of getting the demon staff b/c it looks cool and has the same MP Attk as the Ghoul Staff or is there a better option I should go?

Do not get a Demon staff, the SA on it will not help you at all.
Acumen or Mana-Up are your 2 best options.

So the Ghouls Staff gives plus to Mana or helps to regenerate? DO you know how much that staff goes for from private stores
