Is this a First in L2?

Yep I killed a raid boss solo it took 48 mins 150 heal pots 10K ss and 4 attack speed 2 pots and a dagger with bleed and the bleed was help a lot 2 kill that thing. I ran out of ss at about 1/4 the boss hp and still killed it. Here is the last 20 mins of the recorded video. It's a L2 file so you have 2 put it in your replay folder start the game and hit replay.

That was interesting..... I attempted to take a raid boss with my lvl 23 dwarf in dwarf land. Well the thing was showing white to me so i figured i had a spitting chance.

After about 2 minutes of spaming SS and hitting HP pots.... I decided to run for the hills after seeing that i was only doing like 7 damage. And the boss was regening faster then i could damage it.

I dont really want to watch 20 mins of mob killing, even with ff. Can you say what the set up was. Like the level and gear, buffs or not.

Btw, on kain about 1 year ago Murdawg solo'ed a raid boss and the minions. This was before you would get petrified if you are to high. He was like lvl 70 vs a lvl 25 raid boss.

This is utterly stupid. This is the very reason why Raid Bosses now are broken and need to fixed ASAP. This one achievement just breaks the whole concept of what a "raid boss" is. This is the the VERY reason why they need to make raid bosses REAL raid bosses that are HARD to take down and does not take 1-5 mins by a zerg farmer force.

u don't need a zerg .... 1 tank, 2 Healers, 10-15 cdl'ed nukers = raid boss hunting farmer style :eek:

2 mixed parties of D graders can take out Raid bosses. No need for a zerg.

Can someone post the class, equipment, buffs, lvl and what raidboss is in question? Dont like replay files >.>

They can't ALL be super hard seeing that they took away every single mini boss there ever was. The EG alone hosts FOUR raid bosses!!

RBs below 40 or so was made easier so low lvl ppl actualy would kill them... before this no1 killed them because it was to hard

Very cool accomplishment! That's a lot of effort to take down a raid boss by yourself.

been there done that but gratz now the people on the forums know theay dont need to level up a 40 sps to solo em

I done some raids with some random people shortly after getting subclass. 9 people took on a group raid boss without much dificulty.

I only use 1 party to take out raid bosses.

1 tank, 1 SO/SE(for recharge), 1 cleric, the rest nukers

Actually on sunday with our raid clan of alts we killed 5 raids lvl 25-30 with:

1 Human Knight
1 Warrior
1 Shilien Oracle
1 Cleric --> me :eek:
1 Elven Wizard
3 Dark Wizards

Total of 8 people, all lvl 24-29...very nice exp and no deaths.

What do you mean Nobody did the low level raid bosses in C3? My clan did them nightly on our alts. We were pulling in 20-45m per night on those things. Nobody did them because most people dont care about D grade. When you kill a raid boss, and get 15 Knowledge gloves(at the time 1.5m each) or 9 brig helms, or a dozen elven mithril gloves, it was so worth doing. Unfortunately, C4 destroyed that for the most part.

Sorry I just got back to Lin2 so the replay thing is new to me. When I go to my L2 folder I dont see a replay folder. SO I cant watch this video.

You need 2 record something in-game first and it will create a reply folder for you.

No its not, a summoner did the one outside Hunters Village on top of the monument mountain. Plus I saw a video of a Sorcerer soloing Orfen back in Prelude/C1. AoE sleep on the minions, then a few nukes on Orfen, collect the drops, then repeat in 12 hours... **** you Koreans!

I've taken out several raidbosses with just one party in D-grade, fun stuff and it was even just random people.

Orfan was not a raid boss back then just a boss mob. raid boss is a lot harder then the old boss mobs. and you can't attack a raid boss if your level 2 high just try one and see. This was done in C4 on a "Raid Boss"
I got 2 Full puma skins drops good for making SSD and over 349k XP 10% went 2 my cougar so i could of been 400K XP I didn't really need the cougar it got Silence any way.

Yes I ran out of SS at about 1/4 the hp.
The class I use was a lvl 25 Assassin with full brig at +3 and Brig Shield at +3 and a Cursed Dagger at +8
+2 dex -2 Con Tattoo
The Raid boss is on talking Island in the elven ruins.

The buffs I had ran out 10 mins into it so the buffs are point less just had my lvl 2 self shield buff and lvl 1 might and haste attack speed 2 from a pot which put my attack speed at 668

Which goes to show again that this is wrong and Raid Bosses are broken. I don't get why people think this is a good thing, especially people who think its justified, because they got rid of mini-bosses? This is a RAID BOSS. No one should be able to solo a RAID BOSS. RAID means like at least 3 groups of full 9 people. You shouldn't be able to EVER take out a Raid boss with less.

lol theres nothing new to soloing raid bosses ive bene doing it for months on my 27 +3 manti and a +7 cursed main and i use up maby 40 healing pots and 2-3k ss

raid bosses are insaneley broken HELL even the idea of a raid boss is broken there shoudent be a mob that has 100%chance to drop items that all you have to do is kill it make it a chalange to do make you have to get special items to kill them or some thing via a quest untill some things done about em il just keep soloing my *** off cashing in on this flawed feature
