Summoners and sin eaters....the eternal struggle

opk explain this one to me, HOW? there alsmot no way for me to elvel a sin eater unless I group wich is hard these days I tried to melee through it with half HP mobs (tip NEVER turn on transfer pain while leveling a sin eater) but its not working lol any tips?

get a clan and play healer. should only take 2 buff rounds.

Phantom Summoners have same problem, no SKILLS to kill mobs when using sin eater...its more annoying than doing it on a dorf .. i mean at higher lvls , not lvl 30 ^^

Like Greg said get a clan get in a party and play healer. It should level fast if your group isn't garbage.

why should i "Play" a stupid healer ???
i still have prophet + se, but my summon is my weapon on PS ...
wanna see a "mage" doing sineater, hitting the mobs with homu ^^ gl ...

i am a ps though lol party leveling on it is slow what im saying is they should give some lee way (spellchec) on etting summoners have a sin eater AND a summon out

sounds like u have no idea what a PS / ES is ... sry
it still takes a eternity to kill a 6x mob with aoba+4 / bw lite and NO skills .... cuz all u get is for ur **** summon ^^
lvl 35 mage skills dont work there fyi...
semi summoners like nec dont need to put out a summon, but we dont have life leech / cdl or something ...
summon has 1xxx patak... im not...
PPL wants u in party cuz ur a nice DD, not for leeching ...
and btw, crying 95% of my ingame time for party like others ... not my thing ...
a summoner w/o summon is like a dorf...

NC really need to make a change for that !!

jeez, just get a party. If your clan / allaince even remotely likes you they won't complain if you bust out a few cubics instead of your pet so you can do a sin eater. If you cant do a sin eater in 1 -3 buff rounds you have the worst clan to party with in the world.

may i dont like / need to play with others ?...
evry toon can pull out sineater and USE SKILLz .. we not

look you play one of the best grief classes in game. Cubics and pet trains can eliminate people in most situations in which you would have to PK them.

Lets not ignore the fact that pet SS allows you to have a furry remote controled death dealing device to PK with that doesnt require you to be anywhere in the near vicinity. Nor do you have to wear gear to do so. There needs to be some balance.

Hit 75, get subclass to work PKs off with, and have fun. Otherwise grow a hair as g4 would wierdly say and just kill them. Keep BSoEs on you. This would have been a major issue in past chronicles but as it stands now summoners are just fine. I have a Warlock myself and yes this ****** me off. Does it stop me from ruining someone's day when I play her? No.

This sounds like a definite problem.
Non-summoners won't understand.

Since I played a summoner and know a 7x Warlock I know not being able to work off your own pks is a problem but if any of you summoners had a decent clan or alliance It shouldnt be a humongous problem.

also please don't say things like " im summoner so if I dont have my summon out im not worth having in the party" In a pick up party this flys I understand but in a clan/ally party if you arent THAT GUY that everyone cant stand but puts up with then you should be able to play melee dd or gimp healer.

Let's put it this way: NCSoft almost hinted at solving this problme in the original C4 notes. Then it went bye bye. Yeah.

Solution: Save your PKs for those jerks who really deserve it, i.e. the unicorn song haters.

Or get a clan party! YAY CLAN PARTIES! Battle heal level 3 +Devotion set + acumen + zerk = uber/ >:D

Oh, and to the genius who suggested light armor and a dagger... get real. Mages have no p.atk. =P =P =P =P But nuking does work as a way to level a sin eater!... up til maybe level 56. x.x
