ok is it just me...or are the quests really lacking for 61+....
i was just looking over some of the quests on stratictics...and lvl 64...forest of the dead...5 part quest...and after you have done all that ..you get a couple of "B" grade jewels...like comeon!
i have been doing the quest at FG now for 2 levels...and i have yet to get a maj ring recipie...and i need 2 of those...i have got 2 maj necklace and 2 maj earring recipies...and a bunch of phoniex ones and those gawdawful nm shield recipies :)
do the quests get any better? are there some that aren't listed on stratics?
i'm lvl 65 now...and i have no Agrade...not even the jewels yet, cause the only parts I got from the other quest(up by DC) was maj ring parts...and i can't get that recipie...i have been trying to make a soul bow for over 4 months now...and i'm still lacking in the staves cause the stolen inf ore quest is just so random and hard to win its crazy...and no one wants to buy/trade the baldes i get cause...everyone else has an Agrade weapon.
and i refuse to buy adena...cause i don't want to help farmers...but it seems that i just might have to, because to aford the rest of the stuff for my bow will cost about 15mil...and i don't have that kinda cash cause i'm an archer...and i use alot of money soloing (and i solo about 90% of the time)
so...are there any good quests that give good rewards at higher levels?
There are several not listed on Stratics (I only had time on the PTS to do a few and I don't have a level 60 plus character on the regular server) but here's a listing of the quests that are 41 plus.
I would say the new 61+ quests are severly lacking.
There are a lot of very quick one-time quests that give you a chunk of exp and adena, and hey why not.
And the long one in the forest of the dead is actually interesting. Kind of a pain to wait for day/night sometimes, but I mean its seems they really spent time designing the quest. I liked it a lot. But in the end you get 1.6mil exp and mid B jewels. Which I really dont get. I mean for one, if your in the forest of the dead with lower than mid B jewels, your gonna get ripped apart by the mages in there. And secondly you need to be 66 to complete the quest. Thats 5 lvls into A grade. shouldnt they at least throw you a couple phoenix jewels.
And that brings me to my next issue. between 60 and 67 there are no quests for any A mats, or anything worth the effort. Most of them are 200-300 quest items for 100-200k maybe a bit of exp, and/or an asofe or enria every dozen side quest items.
and those are the best rewards. I mean Im still making payments on my 80mil sword, glad to know I can spend a couple days questing and get a sweet 200k :P and spend triple that on ss and sps.
