SPS B-grade

ok, I have been looking into both weps and armor.
for wep ill stick with my SoWD for a while, dont think there are any B-grade that can compete with it :/
so, for armor..
*Doom Robe Set
*Zubei's Robe Set

Doom Robe Set has a lot of good stats, but -3 wit? >.< I guess thats what everyone is using anyways? or should I stick with my demon? demons +4 its is the best damage dealer robe until A-grade I belive :/ (Nightmare Robe Set)
any sugestions?

Unless you are PvPing a lot, stick with the Demon-- the -3 Wit even hampers you in PvE. Keeping demon also means you won't be spending adena on the Doom, and extra $$$ is always nice.

Zubei is also perfectly valid choice-- when sitting you can simply remove the gloves to end the -5% regen (which isn't particularly noticeable anyway). And extra Pdef and health versus Demon is always a good choice.

You're pretty much stuck with demon until you ding at 75.

Not that that's a bad thing... it's just that with your class and weapon, that's probably the only way you can even two shot single hp mobs.

hmm guess ill stick with demon until NM robe then :/
and there is no good Bgrade weps either, so Ill have to wait for Agrade there as well :'(

I've said it many times...

For a Sps....
Demon and Homunk or Valhalla with Acumen.
+4int -4men tat
+4Wit -4men tat
(3rd one is your call +1 int, +1wit, or +4con)

With 110Matk (+3 homunk) or 131Matk (+3 Sword of Valhalla) and 45INT in Demon, you should be able to two-nuke just fine using your overhit.


Never mind Magic Power with the SoWD, what it gains you in damage it loses in efficiency. Take the acumen for spell re-use shortening for your overhit and let the demon and the int tat do the work.

If only Mage weapons had useful SAs besides Acumen...

At 61 you want DC and its the last robe you will ever need.
Everything else is 2nd-rate at best.
(Perhaps the hero robe... but I have no stats on it.)

Demon is PvE
DC is for PvP

If you wear Nightmare, I will nuke you three times before you finish your first nuke due to interruptions. A sps cannot afford to take that many hits without reprisal.

How do I know? There are at least 5 mages who switched to DC after I handed them their backsides in 1v1. 5-7 levels higher than me and their nightmare did not help them.

The S-grade robe is quite frankly junk. Even if you hand it to me for free I wouldn't take off my DC.

magic power is usefull, at least at C-grade..maybe not at A-grade, I dont know.

DC..hmm...well, ill try NM fist...the stats looks 200% better, it only lacks casting speed, but sps already have a very fast casting speed :/ and NM gotta be very much better for PvE...when I hit max-lvl I can start thinking on the very best PvP set.. I doubth a sps in NM will lose vs all casters..
