By far the worst part about the game are those who break the rules by way of farming, supporting farmers, botting or using some other 3rd party **** on the client.
These players are present on every server and as such I see little point in moving from one server containing cheats to another containing just as many cheats. As this would be my only reason to ever move to a new server I don't want to move.
Additionally, if I ever did consider a transfer, it would be as part of a group decision made by friends. I don't think there is any fun to be had in leaving friends behind to try and start again, when you already have an established community on your current server.
I might. Though I really like the people on my server. If they implemented an alternate rules server of some sort I might do it as I really don't have a lot of time to play anymore. But if they "just" added a new server then no.
I really think this idea would be a great event someday. Like those hair dye's and face dye's and so on. Just a one time dye to switch server permanently. And only your main gets it. I asssume they would sell for millions by people who don't want to switch, but still, it would be a great christmas gift, or maybe sooner :eek:. Ahhh dreams and hopes. Not that I plan on switching servers anytime soon, it would be nice to hop one of my many characters to another server in the future.

if they need more space they should open a new server wich they would allow transfers too
Well, that isn't a bad idea. Though I think quitting just because they allow transfers might be extreme, especially if you enjoy the game. But I suppose it's your dime.
But since server transfers in a game like this would influence the current server greatly, having a server where people know that it will be a free for all and that the economy will be a bit messed isn't bad.

i rarely play anymore since i play WoW, wich i like alot better, only reason why i come to L2 sometimes is because of friends.. mostly to chat..

Sorry, my mistake then. It's funny, a lot of people bash WoW, a lot of people bash L2. Yet they really are completely different games that try to do different things. Cool that you found something you enjoy. :D
Opening a new server where you can transfer to would be best idea. If you have friends split up between servers you could all meet there. Something would need to be done though, such as only one of each armor type allowed to be transfered with your char and a maximum of 5 million adena to get started.
I'd like to see a server where you can mix a Korean/US population kind of like another big MMO has with Japan/US. I'm curious to see how Koreans play the game vs US.
i would love to see an event where players could chose any sever to play on bringing their highest lvl toon for like a week or so. just to mix things up for a bit and see some new faces would be cool imo alothugh im sure things like the economy might get messed up but ya take things as they come i always say :)
