SE Tat Info

Hello Everyone,

I have an SE that is finally in B grade. What a long strange trip its been lol Anyways, she is in doom gear and I use her to fight and give empower and VR but thats pretty much it for buffs as I also have a prophet who handles the rest of the buffs.

She did ok fighting with duels but definately not a tank. My question is what type of tats would be good for more of a fighter SE then say a buff/healer. Any input would be appreciated. I never got tats on any of my toons and thought I would start with this one first.
Borrow a plated leather set and compare your damage versus without it and see if you like it. If you do then might want to get tats. But really the best way is to get the most enchanted weapon you can afford. I put +4 con/-4str on mine more for muling than anything else.
Fighter SE is what I'm going for on my alt. Tattoo setup planned:
+4 Dex -4 Con
+4 Str -4 Con
+4 Wit -4 Men
Lets go crazy :D
definitely the setup in previous poster is great.

use duals with Health if youre going to solo.

use dualfists with critical damage or dagger with critical damage if you are grpd with another healer.

then buff yourself with all the necessary ones and youll be in business.

if however you get bluewolf light set, you may want to trade the +4wit for a +1str OR +1 dex.

if you choose doom light, i suggest dagger with critdamage. wow this is fascinating about all the different hybrid class combos.

i must study this further.
right. I still can't decide between health duals or focus duals :P
i would just go +5wit -5men
+4dex - 4str
get a plated leather set and a dagger with focus

but thats just my opinion (im a 75 SE BTW)
Awsome info everyone. I will see what I can come up with based off the information you have all provided. Gonna have to grind for a while longer before I can afford the tats but at least now I have an idea of what I should get.
Just in general, I believe in robes, vs. light.

The pdef difference isn't large enough to constitute *that* much less damage in light. Your mp pool is higher in robes and your cast speed is far faster. (yes, even in bw light with the casting speed increase.) So if you find yourself in need of a quick heal, sleep (light blue and lower mobs only), or root, it could save your life.
set up i recommend
+4 str - 4 con
+4 wit - 4 men
bw light
focus weapon (is there a focused 2 hander in b grade?)

bw light brings your cast speed fairly close to robes
you need the str for extra damage, but on my dwarf i barely noticed a difference in crit rate from +4 dex

there's no reason a fighter se wont work
esentially you are nothing but a dwarf who always has the worlds best buffs ^^
what do everyone think about this setup? a lil weird I thought but it work. I love PL set, but i can't solo green-yellow well, usually down to 200hp left after each mob and that is too risky when mob hit for 80+ damage.

+4str-4dex
+4wit-4men
+4dex-4con
BW light/focus dual, I try to keep my HP up but the -4dex hurt my crit rate, so add another +dex to bring it back. for solo I usually outlast most mobs green-light red with 400hp left and a good 2greater blessed heal recover most of my hp.
ofcourse alway have quick healing potion/bsoe just incase:)

Also would the NM light with somewhat hp-giveback-when-melee more effective then BW light? which tatic work better for fighter SE? root mobs first( i get to have 2-3 swing before i get atcked) or Windshakle 1st(where the mobs atck speed slower=less dmage i take)? can't do both with light armor MP pool, and robe hurt too much 200pdef do make a diff with buff.

+4str-4dex
+4wit-4men
+4dex-4con

uh... these 2 dyes equal one dye

+4 str -4 con

so u can use that extra slot for something more then a money waster
(is there a focused 2 hander in b grade?) , yes great sword.
But SE has quite low accuracy (even buffed); also for solo - polearm or bow + root works ok. (I'd use PL, though; and keep devotion/karliman/avadon for buffs)

My SE has always been a healer/buffer, not much of a fighter. I've kept her in BW light forever, with a Manaup weapon. The only reason for the manaup is that until mid 50's I barely had enough MP to buff the full party.

BW light is great for MP regen though, and she can take quite a few shots before she's in danger.

I think if I were making an SE to fight with I'd go with:
BW Light or Plated Leather
+str/-con
(I'd skip the +4 Dex, it's just not worth the HP and you always have full buffs anyhow..)
I would not do +4Wit/-4Men.. why eat into your MP regen and your already weak MP pool just for a little casting speed that really doesn't benefit you that much anyhow..

Then I'd prolly go with a bow.. root and shoot. ;)
