I try to play Lineage II but when I open it I get little massage saying The connection to the update server has been terminated?

True.. But it might be worse than that:

Please note that some players may experience login issues after today’s maintenance due to an update to the login server. It may take up to 48 hours for these issues to be resolved.

Two servers are up, but I can't get past the update server. <Starts 48 hour countdown timer>

Yes... That will work if the only problem is the update server, but there were substantive changes today as well (the L2Day Event.) If you use this today, your game client won't match the game server, and you are asking for problems. We need to let the update server run today, and can't 'zoom' around it. But I appreciate your trying to help: thanks!
