Simple question. Is it allowed to stick a rock on a key and to leave the computer and go afk?

A rock is an outside, 3rd party program if you will, and might possibly get you banned.

The 'create' button on the crafting screen comes to mind.

Assuming that assumption is true, it can be assumed that using your finger would be considered a 3rd party program, correct?

Fingers (yours only) are allowed.
3rd party items, such as rocks, paper weights, inanimate carbon rods and drinky birds have been deemed exploits.

hum i started trying to think of ways for this to work and maybe one of those hand helm fans having the blade just barely touch the key to push it so as not to mess up fan. (maybe foam bladed fan would work best) o and youd have to tape mouse down

No definitive answer it seems if rocks are "3rd party programs" I guess. My main is an EE though, not a dwarf. The rock method could be fairly useful if allowed.

What if I just mash the same macro button over and over again while not looking at my screen for a few hours... is that legal?

nc has stated that if you cant reply to a gm msg than you can be banned
even if a rock is a third party program i doubt you will recieve the email "we have detected you useing a rock, you are now banned"

Just drink alot of caffeine... and that finger will be spasming in no time. But your have to use a rubberband to control the spasm. ;)
