Player Pets

Hello, everyone. I'm new to L2, like, less than a week in the game, and just today rolled an Elven Fighter to go to Silver Ranger. I'm coming from WoW, where at level ten, Hunters do a quest to obtain a pet. At what level are we able to get a pet of any kind? I know Dragons are level thirty-five from what I've read, but what about the others?

u can get a wolf at lvl 15 thru a quest..

but pets arent any good in L2.. usual they are 1 hit by mob

u cant compare pets between wow and L2

and as a SR it will be hard to lvl it, since it only get xp from damage it do itself

best option would be a cougar or equal type of pet, wich will take like 10% of ur xp no matter what and they occasional heal u for a tiny bit

The wolf can be obtained at lvl 15ish i think (not sure)
There is also a dragon that can be leveled and mounted at lvl 55+ you can get the quest from a pet manager also (Giran, Dion or Gludio =)

the "dragon" u can get at lvl 35..

the "dragon" can be made into a strider when its lvl 55 and u need to be atleast 45-46 to do that quest, but u get a speed penalty if u ride it below lvl 55..

Having played WoW as well I'll tell you right now pets here are nothing like those. It takes determination and patience to raise one in L2.
