As far as I'm aware it isn't against the EULA to Accuse someone of botting as they can deny it back. What if a hero starts susing hero chat to spam un-propogated rumors, lies and slander?
There is no way for a person to defend themselves against this, but I can see it happening very soon.

A valid point indeed. I do assume that the hero chat is easier to monitor tho by GM's since this chat is only accesable to a very fue. Still.....
I myself would sent in a support-ticket about slander uttered by "missguided hero's". Other then that you at this time like all legit players have to have faith that Ncsoft does it's job.
Will not help about him spreading rumors about you being a bot to the entire server.
The simple thing is nobody cares what the hero's say. What's going to stop me from going to blah and saying, "PlayerX is a bot!!!!!!!!!11." absolutely nothing... Are these 2 actions the same? From a NCsoft perspective, no. but the point is if somebody really wants to slander your name to the entire community... blah (atleast if you play bartz) is better place for it, and I'm sure the hero's know it.
Futhermore I doubt it is against the eula. I'm pretty sure that means irl slander... such as "JohnDoe (playerx irl name) is a terrorist." or some such nonsense...
The hero slander that people need to be concerned about is the slander against heros. Too many people (on this forum) make refrences to e-bay, powerlvling, cheating, and just being childish. This is the slander that needs to stop.
here's the thing. On lionna a majority of the heros are Invincible alliance. As a consequence the predominant insult on hero chat is regards to the oposing ally leaders buying accounts. Everyone knows that our allies fight at every opportunity.Nobody takes the statements seriously simply because most people are smart enough to assume that sworn enemies don't like one another.

it might also be a function of oru ally having a larget number of noblesse. Also a majority doesn't mean all. Yeah it's a huge amount but if the DD classesthrew matches to one another i didn't see it. Add to that a dwarf, not of our ally got the maestro hero. Now i know we did our best to stop him.

Those people earned those levels, i see no reason to penalize them because the opposing alliance couldn't muster the same number of noblesse desprite their larger size.

Now the post, I do believe, and most in your alliance concur that you have the greater numbers. Also a few of those heros from VVV are addmitted botters, so..."earned" ok...

Never turned on hero chat. After reading about it here, in-game, blah... l2o, I'll just go ahead and leave it off. Shout channel jibberish is bad enough.
its funny to watch heroes fight and argue over hero chat two. We have several on kain that are in opposing alliances and it makes those who want to be villians laugh. I think they should really implement a villian competition as well. After all what are these heroes supposed to do?
Who cares if its a Hero or just some nobody noob in shout chat. People have trashed talked since the begining of this game. The wise people ignore most of the crap they hear in-game anyways.

gotta say on Dev atm non of the current heros have started spamming crap in hero chanel and a lot of the time what they say is quiet funny. yes Cov has its fair share of [censored]'s but so do most clans on Dev, the fact there lvl 75-78 and subbed make them stand out more than others
