For reasons that escape me, the power of the spirits is contained in special rocks. These rocks get crushed and encapsulated in crystal by bored dwarves. The spirits are then released into your weapon, unless you play Hindemith on a bad day, by a method that is never explained.

I like to think the weapon absorbs the souls itself, but that's just me.

Maybe it's like any other crystal/ore, takes time and the right conditions for it to occur...and they have a secret mine somewhere ;)

why does my golem appear to use DSS?
isnt it about time it got an A grade weapon?

It just looks like DSS because it has some Menthos in it, to make the breath of yer tincan somewhat fresh.

They are some sort of capsule... which... you break open... and then... the spirit is applied to your weapon... or so... how breaking those tiny pills up at 800 attack spead is easier than munching them a handful at a time... dunno.

Its an injection, you inject special shots into your soul, each shot is enough to charge your sword once, in the case of soul shot spamming, you just keep the needle in your arm.

Wouldn't a coffee IV work the same way while being way cheaper and having numerous positive side effects as well? :)
