I'm doing the scavenger class change quest and Toma is my target. I know where in the mine he spawns but I have no idea where on the northern shore or east of the village he might spawn.
Does anyone have a location they can help me with?
I resently went though this little time sink. Some advice, buy lots of soe and haste. If he's not in one place escape back to town and use the GK back and check one of the other places. I found it easier to check the island and the entrence to Mithril mines. If he's not in one of those spots, you can wait for about 10-20 minutes and try both places again.
The quest MOBs ain't that bad but the killer is waiting/find Toma although it is do able. Other then the time factor, it's not a bad quest. The quest MOBs are in same area just to the west of Toma's island.
true.... Toma is a **** trivial part of the quest, and for the 2nd class change part you need to find him twice..... but its on bothe the lvl37 and lvl39 quest so you can do it simultainously.
An other thing, I actually think ppl can hold Toma back and prevent him from teleporting.
When I did the quest, I did it together with a friend. After I finished talking with Toma, I kept the "chat" window open/active until my friend arrived.... more then 45-60 minutes later..... and Toma was still there.
I don't know if its supposed to be like that, but I'v heard that he should change location every 30 minutes or so.
It is also the life of a bh, as we need to find that guy on second class change too.
not really sure but i think ws's have to find him 1 extra time (3 times for 2nd class) i think BH has to find him once for first class and once for 2nd
not trying to compete here trust me finding toma once is punishment enough
i personally, includeing pts have searched for toma 11 times :/
I port to the norhern shore, if he isnt on the island, I run down to the mines, and he is there. Never had to search the 3rd location. I have a Bh and a WS. Never spent more than 20 mins looking for him.
