I've been hearing a lot lately about Tattoo's but I haven't stopped to ask anyone what they are about and how you get them? Can someone give me the heads up or some advice?
Tattoos are "items" that boost your stats and lower other stats. They're made with the symbol maker NPC and require 10 dyes of the same type(with the effects you wish to add). For classes that have done the 2nd job change, you need dyes of high degree, that can be bought from the Merchant of Mammon. You can buy +1 stat x -1 stat y, +2 -2, +3 -3 and +4 -4 from dyes from Mammon. You will need 10 dyes of 1 type to make a tattoo. You can increase 1 stat by +5 max, so you cannot take 2x +4 str tattoos for example.
Dyes can also be made with the common craft skill or gotten as drops from mobs/raid bosses. You can also buy certain dyes from NPC shops in towns.
A lvl 40+ toon that has complited 2nd job change quests can have a maximum of 3 tattoos.
