i am thinking of getting tats for my prophet i was thinking
+4 str -4 int
+4men -4 wit
+4 con -4 int
is this even possible and if not what would be a good set up
lol, yeah....if i recall right they dont exist? only tats are STR/CON, CON/DEX, DEX/STR, MEN/WIT, INT/WIT, MEN/INT right? does STR even effect a prophet? i always thought that STR was more for p. atk only. if you dont hit many mobs, you may want to go more for +CON, +WIT and +MEN. again, i could be 100% wrong about everything i just said :p after all, i have only been playing a couple of months and only got a little gladiator to show for it :) hopefully an experienced prophet will stumble onto this thread and guide you mate....
Oh but you can, there is no limitation on physical stats. Nuker classes can change all 6 stats and others can change 5 out of 6. For fighters, men is locked. For healer/buffer classes it was int or wit.
Check out this thread I created. In there I talk about what combinations exist and I have a link to a chart which shows the possible combinations for each class.
You've really asked two questions here: Tattoos for a "battle prophet that solos" will be completely different from tattoos for a standard prophet that parties and rarely does any fighting.
The standard tattoo that most mystics end up getting is +Wit -Men. Yes, the lowered Men will reduce both your total MP and your MP regeneration, so you may not want to get this right away, wait until you have enough MP/MP regen to handle it.
For a standard partying prophet, +Con -Str is also pretty standard. Since most prophets don't fight alongside their parties, they have no use for their Str, and +Con will give them additional HP to protect against the occasional random aggro.
For a soloing prophet, I have no idea what tattoos would be good (other than the +Wit, above). You can't really lower your Str, since you're the only one doing damage. Lowering your Con is generally a bad idea on a class with such low Con to begin with. Lowering your Dex might work, but that would lower your attack speed, crit rate, and several other stats.
