Cubic are their own entity. Their strength depends on what lvl the cubic skill is.
Summoners been debating what the whole equation for triggering cubics, but so far nothing really define as fact. Most popular theory is that each attack a cubic has % chance of triggering, so faster u cast or attack the better ur chances of it triggering. Life cubic is kinda void from this theory thou.
Summoners know the most sound ways to get cubics to fire is with daggers, dual swords, or fists weapons. Bows, polearms, and 2handed blunt/sword have a slow triggering rate.
