Hi all im new to lineage 2 and was wondering if you could tell me a good server to go on so that i have a good chance to get in a guild and make some friends to play with in the game
At the top on a sticky in each server forum is a 'server personality' post. Check that out and pick one that seems like it would be something you'd like. Teon is the European server. That means it's got European times for sieges and not that it's actuallylocated in Europe, and many of our Euro players are there.

well, just remember Teon times are designed for European players, as their times of sieges and various events (devestated castle, partisan hideaway) all revolve around Europeon time, so to make sure your play time is enjoyable make sure you keep that in mind.
No seriously watch for the scammers. That's a lesson we all learned and it's always sad when someone new learns it too. Also dont' give your stuff to anybody without collateral.
Also Lionna FTW, loads of drama, PVP, and if you are savvy to it we have some RPers too.
