I recently signed back up for this game after a 2 year lay off... so i spent about 2 hours downloading the update. Well now nothing is in english. At least nothing that matters. Charracters names and stuff are in english- everything else is some kind of scribble. So i cant figure out how to turn it back to english or why the heck it stoped being english in the first place. Also, as soon as i apear in the game the screen starts rotating my charracter at a moderatly quick speed. I have no clue why any of this is happening but its gay as hell.
yeh Korean is what i was thinking. Thats what it looks like on the game lists around 3 am on battle net (Brood War), when all the koreans are out beating the snot out of everyone. I just downloaded the update 2 days ago, what could have changed that a full scan thingy will fix? none the less ill try it.
And what got worse right after i posted my first post- i tried to start the game up again and everything went jumbo. The mouse cursor was as big as my thumb and most the screen was missing because it couldnt all fit with the zoom. So yeh- still ******. Got all hyped up about playing again. Paid money i cant afford to spend, and in return the game kicks me in the nuts.

delete option.ini file i believe and it will fix that
thanks for all the help. That one guy was right. I just had to check the file thing. ITS BACK TO THE QUEENS ENGLISH!!! YAY. But..... another problem brews (i cant catch a break... please for the love of god and all that is holy help me fix it). That thing where its stuck in zoom... its on the log in screen. So i can enter my id and pass, but then that thing it makes you read or whatever that no one reads... because of the zoom i cant click i agree or whatever. So i stuck looking at words. Please tell me how to unzoom it. I dont even know how it got that way. Ill be getting a rope ready to hang my computer with... just incase you cant help. Thanks in advance.
First you need to preform a full file check... As what you say sounds like your viewing some text in korean....
Second if i'm not mistaken about that spinning camera, you have to uncheck the game paddle option.
yeah that is gamepad issue all theway. Uncheck should work , but if not (some keyboards drivers have issues) just plug in a real gamepad...only fix I know of :/
another way is to delete the options.ini file, then delete and reinstall the graphic card drivers/i recommend the newest version.
had the giant cursor issue, was thinking about 'refreshing' computer with cold water but then I would see no more .XXX :confused:
so i just reinstalled the darn thing.

or for the resolution problem, hit alt + enter, then, that will make it the equivalent of whatever resolution it's trying to be, stretch that window as close as possible then hit the maximise button. That should make it close enough to your resolution. Then, go to options, then change it to the correct resolution if it's close, but not the same one.
