Heros and vulgar language

Last night i see over hero chat (which i have on only on the all channel) A hero cursing someone off and using profanity vulgar language and accusing of people of botting.

I think heros should get an automatic 3 day ban for this and 2nd offense strip them of hero status and noble status. Shouting in global chat profanity and stuff of the like is totally unacceptable especially for someone that is referred to as a "hero".

Either remove hero chat option since the little kids that are heros obviously are too immature to have it or Severly punish any hero that chooses to break the EULA/TOS with the global chat feature. It even said that people breaking the rules in global chat will be severly punished in the EULA/TOS.
I agree....

If they want to be a hero, they need to act like one first.
ScreenShot, send to support, hold breath.
Who needs a screenshot, just report them as bad players.
there is a function to turn off hero chat
But why should we ignore something instead of changing it for the better? Because thats all we are doing by unchecking that box.
Because why ignore it when they are breaking the Rules of Conduct

3. You may not use sexually explicit, harmful, threatening, abusive, defamatory, obscene, hateful, racially or ethnically offensive language.

4. You may not post or link to any sexually explicit, harmful, threatening, abusive, defamatory, obscene, hateful, racially or ethnically offensive imagery or content.

Grats your alliance member (tukker) violated 3 rules in one by doing it in hero chat :) Hope they get a ban hammer for a few days to think about their stupidity.
Ok, I think we need to divorce the idea of "Heroes" being something "greater" than they are.

As far as rules of conduct, sure, no issues with that. If one can't conduct themselves in public then they deserve what they get.

But "hero" has nothign to do with being "good" or "divine" in nature. It has to do with getting the appropriate lvls and doing the appropriate quests.

Desiring people who are heroes to actually act in the best possible fashion is highly unrealistic.

So yes, if they can't act according the the rules of the game then report them.

But that goes for anyone who can't do this.
point for me wasnt they werent being heros but the fact they are taken their abuse of EULA to a new level simply because they can spam their dribble in Hero chat now meaning everyone can read it not just people in the area which is why it makes it more serious
Ignoring a problem only makes it worse....IE:farmers
Then lets change it.....

The english version of lineage is only a translated korean version. And i would say that the korean word which was translated into english is incorrect, that it isn't hero but should be champion or the like.

Is the korean word used more of a one to one translation?

Ahhh.... good point and point taken ;)

So report him if that makes you feel better, I couldn't care less what people from my ally say in hero chat.
