Mystics are hugely overpowered under level 15. If you've done the quests that allow you to accumulate spiritshot, just spam away. You should be able to 1 or 2-shot spiders by now spamming sps. Upgrade your weapon whenever you can using the newbie system. Offense is king in this game. Don't even worry about your robe set at this time.
Keep your buffs up from the newbie helper. They'll help you level like crazy.
There is a spider quest from a guy up near the northern end of the island that awards (I think) either heal pots or sps (your choice). Use it to get more sps.
Go ahead and get level 20 before starting the class change quest. If you can afford (or have) D grade equip at that time, it'll help you complete the quest easier. If you can't afford D grade, go ahead and start the quest at 19.
And the single most important thing I can teach you in this game... if someone asks to "see" your equipment, even for a moment, nuke em dead. *Never* hand your equipment to anybody ever.
Only one reply!!!? I'm dissappointed. But anyways...., they can see your equipments!!?? I don't think i've ever came across a scamming incident. A lot of scamming took place in-clans. And since i'm getting help from my alties, the newbie helper won't even bodered with me at all. I'm still stuck on the Island though. Yet, so far i've only been doing 1% with Orcs and maybe 2% with Wolves. I read the player's guide on one of the fan site that suggested doing the Golem even up till 20. So i think i'd better start working on it now. I still need much help though. Come back with whatever you can offer. They'll be very much appreciative. Thankyou.,
Lol, asking to see your equipment or try it on to see what dmg or defence they have with it, is the signature of a scammer. Never, unless you know the person in real life give anything worth while to someone else even for a second. I see people every single day cussin others out for getting scammed. And no one shows pity on those scammed :D. You get what you deserve. In other words, just be careful and dont trust people easily. Some are nice, most are not :eek:.
As far as lvling goes, Crashers and Golems are easy picks for mystics. I usually lvl on them till im 15 and then go inside the ruins. It is getting more and more populated each day. And for the first time in a long time I have seen some automated friends in there :D. All quiet and sneaky. It was really funny watching them. But yea you can go to lvl to 20 on crashers easy. Just go to the upper right edge of TI and theres plenty there to pick all day. I was there a few min ago lvling my orc fighter. Good luck.
I resentally started to level a mystic I started back in beta. At 12ish I was doing upper level orcs and got bored of that pretty quickly so I moved to the spiders. Take the spider skin quest cause it'll help with the cost of BSpS. I'm going to assume that your alt is picking up the equipment bill, with a top NG weapon giant spiders are a 2 shot at 12(if I'm remembering correctly). At 17 I moved to Runes of Despare on the mainland killing skeleton and the rune imps(take the anatomy quest for the extra cash). Pound for pound you get the biggest bang for the MP and buck on those.
Note, here is a hint: while doing the transfer quest the rune zombies are on top of the hill just west of the runes of agony enterence.
I've never had so much problems leveling mystics of other races before even without the help of alties. I took the advice but only did a little more over 2 and a 1/3% with Golems for a lot of work. Wolves give me the standard 1 and a 1/2% now i think. Just got killed by a wolf. Took half my experience and now i'm back for more. I need help badly.
stick to mobs that you can 1 or 2 hit (if you have a low weapon)
as soon as you cast the first spell run backwards while it recharges
when you get frost bolt use that first as it will slow down the mobs run speed
others can help you with the questiong but dont expect to get anywhere without hours of quests and later on a good market strategy
Thankx for coming to my rescue. I need to regroup my strategies badly. Guess is back to killing Orcs for me for while. Killing Orcs at level 11 with Medium No-Grade equipments from alties.
Golems are horrible for mystics and not worth the trouble in my opinion. If you are on TI, do the werewolves until about 15 or 16. With shots you can 1 or 2 shot them.
Here's how I play a low level mystic.
Choose the target carefully. Make sure you are only going to get one when you cast and most of the mobs are social, so if you hit one within range of another, you get two.
I start my cast and get ready to run in the opposite direction. As soon as I finish casting, I start running. If I one shot it, great, it's dead, I stop and pick up loot if I can. If I can't one shot it, I run till my windstrike is refreshed and hit it again.
Well i suppose i should be slowly getting back on my feet untill i can learn some new skills. Hate to think what would've happened to me without my alti. And i tell you, this've been the worse if not most arguis mission i've ever undertooken. Why a Human Mystic anyway???
I know human mystics are difficult to level just wait to you pick your class and then have to go threw the level 40 quests if your going healer at level 20 and then bishop or prophet (mine is prophet) they are well worth it they get some interesting buffs and a lot of people like having ahealer in raid groups! So stick with her you will eventually start to like her..hopefully :)
I just can't bare to think that all my hard work and dedecation should be going toward others people's benefit. The reason i say this is not because i'm a self obsessive bH nor is it out of selfishness. I was duoling with this puller one time and he got three levels before i'm even at half of mine. I know a puller has to run around braking his fingers but so am i was on every second of my guard to help keep him alive. And i don't really think people'll be having trouble finding buffs at all. Those buff cakes seem a dime a dozen(sorry buff cakes but you just are, solute to you). As for me, i'm starting to get weiry of this whole enter point i'm trying to get. So tell me about it. What am i missing out on here?
You should never party with someone 2 lvl above you. They will always get a lot more exp than you. And lvl faster thus becoming 3 lvls above and so on. I always look for someone either below me or equal. Never higher.
Eyees. That's fantastic advice if only that were true. So now i know why when people the first thing they always say is "Hi", the second thing i said is "hello" and the third thing they ask is "what level are you?".
