I have a level 36 Healer thats going Prophet and I have been trying like mad to level her 4 more levels but it's been impossible I've done raids but they give very little exp now! and can't solo till I get my CG Duals and I'm so close but about to give up b/c its taking her forever! Could someone tell me for a healer with no duals where is my best bet to gain decent exp fast?
In a party. Try going to HC or PN. I think those are still around your's lvl. And there are often many people. Or if you can find a party in someother place.
Find someone to duo with. I am a 47(almost48!) gladiator on Erica. I have duo'd with the same prophet since mid 20's. If you get someone one good with a polearm that can position mobs well, exp will fly. Having the buffs/heals from a prophet and the polearm, its quite an efficient duo.
I just pull about 4(usually 8 per room in catacombs), kill em, loot everything, rinse and repeat. We keep 2 connecting rooms clear consitantly and I do the running/looting to maximize her sit time.
Find a little party 1-2 players max, and do buff + heal. Then the party gets +35% XP bonus and no downtime at all.
And the buffs makes the kill speed go even quicker.
Also remember to sit-to-regain-mp so you can keep the groupe sufficient supplied with buffs and heals.
I think the most people/small partys would accept a human buffer to there group, I know I would.
ok thanks I think my best bet is the PN I always see people in there looking for a healer to add to there group and since I've gotten so tired of raiding and it's giving bad exp I'll try that for next time I hopefully I can get 4 more levels :) If you guys now of anyone who's looking for a healer to join a group I'm on the Seig server char: Tiffy10 look me up thank you
Actually the game very much so is for me I have 3 other chars and all of them are going to past my healer because I am having the hardest time leveling her my scout is like 5 levels away and she's only a week old and my newest Dark Elf was made 3 days ago and she's currently level 20 so I'n not having a problem leveling my other characters but I've had a hell of a time with my healer! So thanks for your input next time when you actually have something helpful to say then let me know but besides that no thanks :)

If it is just xp you want, you can probably find an artisan with a pole to duo with. Artisans find it hard to get into parties since they cannot spoil well. If you can find a scavenger, that would be even better; xp plus spoils.
Shout in town, or just keep your eyes open out in the fields. Soloing dwarves make good prospects.

Duo with a heavy Damage dealer (Glad, Tyrant, Dest) that is lvl 40-42 with top C grade gear. They will cherish your buffs and won't need much healing if they don't get over their head. Grab a set of 107's and assist their damage dealing.

Do me a favor, sps. Make a mystic, give it a mage weapon, and then try to melee the mobs to death. Come back and let me know how fast you level at 30.
OP: if you want to be able to solo at all, you need some sort of a non mage weapon. Root + polearm/bow works well, also Duals, if you can take a few hits. If any of your other characters are on a separate account, duo them and heal/buff.
Any way you look at it, the duo/trio is the fastest way for a healer to xp.
Can always hunt undead if you need to solo. Cruma Swamp or the fettered souls in Death Pass. Just root and use disrupt undead. Mana goes quick but the xp is good and if you have to solo it's better then nothing.
Yeh you obviously dont know me, and why should you. I have a prophet, i did level 20-40 solo fighting melee style. I HAD NO PROBLEMS. It was easy as hell i didnt even have downtime. Manticore + claymore and i solo'd EG like a piece of cake. This guy is haveing problems leveling his cleric, not his mystic.
Silver is exactly right it's not that I can't get exp thats the problem it's that it takes so long to get it b/c I am meant to heal not fight my wind strike I think is at a level 3 or something and none of my attacks increased past 20 so basically I'm a level 36 trying to kill mobs with level 20 attacks... as everyone else who was kind enough to help out and give actualy good advice instead of being rude (SPS) thanks for your help guys my best bet is to look for a dwarf with a pole till I get my CG since I already have my CG duals I just need to get to 40 now :)

You told me to go level a mystic, i simply pointed out that i have, and you shouldnt tell me to do stuff if you dont already know if i have done it or not.
Tiffy, groups on your lvl are great fun atleats what i remmber, so use them to lvl, and if you wanna solo and dont have melee equip or money for it, and still have mage weapon, find some undead mobs (Fettered soul in DV) and nuke them, ist slow, but better than nothing, gl:)

I'm not sure I would say that you are having trouble leveling so much as not realizing that leveling in this game has a variety of components.
As a healer or buffer, eventually you need to group. That is what that boils down to. Also, xp gets harder the higher you go. This game is not called a grind game for nothing. And, as you go up, the amount of xp you need for the next lvl increases.
Many people really don't realize that when people say the game is hard to lvl inl, it is "hard". It used to be harder.
I get about 2% per hour. This varies on a vareity of things. Or, more accurately, I get 1% every clan hall buff round. I have no doubt that this will change once I reach 73 or so as I no longer get the .02% every mob but am seeing .01%. Having said that, since I am hunting green mobs, they are easy to kill and the adena drops are very nice. Also, they only take 2 shots. So I can go through a group of them in no time.
But that is the nature of the class I chose to play. I'm sure melee and healers soloing would take more time for the same results.
Just get a good group of people, lvl and have fun.
I know it's harder to get exp as I get to a higher level I have my full CG and weapon all I really want to do is get 4 levels the fastest way possible right now b/c once I hit 40 I'm leaving my prophet alone for awhile and going to focus on my scout for a bit since she is also very close and I've found fighters in my opinion a lot easier to level :) So I was just looking for advice on leveling 4 more levels really fast but hopefully not going by raids b/c they've gotten kinda boring to me lately so thanks a lot guys for the help I'll take the tips and try them out :)
from the almost 2 years I have played the hardest lvls are 36-40 and lvl 64-66 and I hear that it gets hard again around 71+. I would never know anything past 64 because I have gotten 3 toons to 64 and then started on another one ><. LOL one day I will make it to 75 hoping to get my HE up there then sub and become a HERO (hopes and dreams).
Exactly I'm not in a rush to get past 40 and get CG grade the after 10 levels trade it in for BG I just want her to hit 40 become a prophet put my CG stuff on her and trade my DG stuff or transfer some of it maybe to my dark wizard or something!
Unfortunately for you they nerfed the best XP you used to be able to get with a cleric at that level. Hangman Trees in EG used to be undead. I leveled using Disrupt Undead in EG.
You can level to 40 on Strains (though they will be light blue by the time you hit 38). I know, cause I did it.

The Rakul (level 35) in the Fields of Whispers (Innadril) are undead. If you have to solo using Disrupt Undead, you might want to give them a try. They are big, blue fish-skeleton type mobs.
Field of Whispers and Field of Silence are rough if you aren't at least duoing with a healer. There are a lot of social mobs, with fast respawn. So if you go there, be careful.

Change your gear and you can solo fine, stop being a noob and adapt to the game.

I dont think so, i gave you my experiance, i have done lvl 36-40 on cleric, i did it in one day, all you need is what i said, new equipment. Manti light and a claymore. PROBLEM SOLVED. What ever you do for gods sake dont listen to the people who say go use disrupt undead. Its the slowest leveling possible, unless you have a SE/SO to recharge and buff empower. Using DU you run out of MP after like 3 mins of nukeing, its trash. Melee fighting or group fighting is the only way worth doing.
your best bet is to go to some place where there is undead. you should have some kind of disrupt undead spell, so you will be able to solo MABEY in the graveyard east of aden.
