Overenchanting Shields, is it worth it?

I once heard that Overenchanting a sheild will increase the block rate, is this true?

ther answer to your question is nope, over plusing your shield has no effect sides from the increase of P.def. i lke to over plus my shield for personal reasons, shields are generally cheap and as long as you have some extra money lay'n around it can't hurt. i actually just upgraded from Doom to DC, and still need to over enchant the DC shield

Not in this chronicle, but rumour has it, that in C5 this will be true.
