Which Mystic, in your opinion, gets the most invites to teams?
I like playing online games but I don't like being left out. I'm looking for a high demand team player character. Having played many online games I leaned toward a healer (eq cleric). Similarly I played a warrior there too. I really don't care for **** and slash at the moment so I am pretty set on the mystic.
Any ideas and suggestions you might have and any insite with the one you pick?
The easiest mystic class by far to get into pick up groups with is the Shillien Elder, which is the dark elven healer, closely followed by the Prophet (human mystics). However, both the Elven Elder (elf, duh :p ) and Bishop (Human mystic) can become highly valued members of good clans because they are both outstanding PvP healers.
If you do not intend to find a close-knit clan that will help you level in order to PvP with you later, go for a Shillien Elder or Prophet.
I have seen so many light elves or human clerics asking for parties when theyre below 40 and rarely got some. dark elf on the other hand always do. But after 40 things change in my opinion. As much as i hate to say dark elf, its the one to go with. I love the way de females look, but i have grown tired of the way theyre spells sound. Especially recharge. I cant stand the sound of recharge being cast :D. I always run away when I hear it. Its the fear spell for pc's. I just run away till i cant hear it anymore.
Actually, sub 40 is where finding a party is decently easy for any healer. It's after 40 that bishops and EEs get into real trouble unless they have a clan or a big FList.

An se is a relatively good choice for a healer/buffer, as he does pretty well in both roles. But since you mentioned a class for parties, I fell I should tell you to look at the bladedancer/sws. Their songs/dances are easily needed in any party, and they are harder to substitute by using a second client. <-they're not really healers (or mystics) tho.

Then just make a male SE, I think they have different sounds. Besides, a male DE will probably get much less of these annoying "buff pls" tells, because everybody will think he's a SH. ;)
In fact, I have a male SO twink, but mainly because I do NOT like the look of the DE females (even at the risk of being the only man in the world who thinks that way...).
Lol you trully are the only man in the world that doesn't :p. But I respect that. Light elves can be hot too, actually all except the child dwarf. Too much there :). I currently 2box 2 female orc's, monk and shaman and I absolutely love the looks.
I never thought of making a male se, but your right. I never ask a male se for buffs cause I think his a SH. Most are. But then again I play female characters :p so that's a no no. I just dont make se's as much as I love VR. Can't stand that "unamen" thing over and over or the sound of recharge at all. I do however have a female PR which i love.
I Have a level 35 Healer (human) going Prophet and she's amazing I love her she's a pain to level when you try solo when you get higher but groups and raids are always looking for one and they are almost always needed :)
