Phantom Summoners

Hiya gang ,Been looking around and can't seem to find a guide for Phantom Summoners, specificaly lvls 30-45 or so .Anyone have a link or some food for thought?
Phantom Summoners start at lvl 40. I think L2pets.com will have summoner information.
Level 35-40 are played as a nuker. After level 40 you have a lot of options - probably too many to summarise them in a guide easily.

L2pets is your best bet, although I still don't think it's a good place for starter summoners. >.<
Go to search, type in "Phantom" to search for in Player questions and put the search to 1 year.

You will see a variety of threads that will help build a more complete picture. You can also try "PS".

That should be good for a start.
Thxs :)..That pet site is very useful so reading that now
You can level pretty good in the pit beneath Ivory Tower at your upper 30's, just watch out for the stuns from the gargoyles.

Alligator island is a great place to start when you are 40. lots of mobs, great xp, 2 quests (3 later on) wich will give you a nice extra income. If your server allowes it, using the manor stystem is a great way to make a profit while leveling and still using pet ss.

you can do a few things at 40:
1: go full out nuker style with a +4int dye, demon robes and a high mattack weapon and nuke your way to 52 (where your lvl 35 nukes start failing alot) (expensive but much faster way to level)

2:have a 2box buffer/ friend buffer wich will provide you with buffs wich will speed your leveling, since you are now able to use the 10% summon (soulles) non-stop.

3: do it the hard (but cheaper) way, and use the 30% leach summon (shadow) to level. Get a light armor set and a melee weapon, let the shadow do the most damage, and throw in a few nukes when your mana allows it. (they still do more damage then your melee hits)

good luck.
With the shadow,Can i have him do one mob while I blast another with no downtime? also what's a big boom?
Big Boom is a Warsmith summons. you won't be getting that one as a PS.

If this is a reroll and have money put aside for lvling. I really not all that big into nuking for lvls. I get most my enjoyment for that 24 minutes of using my shadow. I finally got my hands on a claymore, and I semi nuke then cut my enemy down. Have about half hp after killing some of the tougher mobs and just corpse drain my hp back to full. I can go nonstop...well until I need more shots. I prefer 1x mobs that are somewhat spread out is best for this style, like Orcs Barracks, Execution grounds, or Death pass.

Just an idea if ur bored of 2shotting mobs and resting.

You can also try "PS".

Can't search for a term with under 4 letters.

If you decide to go melee summoner, which is extremely common for PS, don't switch over until 44+. At 40, your nukes still land basically every time and do good damage, while your summon is basically without any good buffs.

That said, I meleed anyway for a change of pace :)
Yeah by that time i hated nuking with a passion so i sacrificed speed for enjoyment too.

I don't hate it, in fact I might change things up a bit and go gimped hybrid after a few alts hit 40; after grining my first lv40 character I wanted to actually play the class, not min-max my way into extra levels of the same old nuking.
I just hit le el 20 last night and finished my Dark Wizard Quest and I decided to invest in +8 duals which are awesome b/c I found my MP was running out fast and I needed to sit down to regerate and instead I carry around DSS & BSPS & when I need to regenerate I switch into fighting mod spam my DSS and away I go! It's easy and a great way to do it if you have the money for both DSS & BSPS :)

I hope you realize that it is extremely rare for a level 20 toon to be able to afford +8 duals... :o
Probley a back idea to go in taht direction SirE =p

Why? If someone is going to give advice on how to level a toon, one shouldn't assume that the person reading that advice has limitless access to adena.

Hell, when Elro hit 52 I couldn't afford +8 D-grade duals...
