every once in a while there comes a pvp moment. so to efficiently do a kill one must either press ctrl to attack or hold shift button not to move while selecting/attacking an ennemy. so from time to time a player presses by mistake the M$ window button which brings him to a desktop: most of the time player kicks the bucket at that point.
the question is: other that pulling out the M$ window button from keyboard what would be the best way to render that button useless while lineage is activated?
lol a friend of mine did this after he alt-tabbed and died playing counter-strike.
I however, use an old generic keyboard which has no windows key buttons. The microsoft ergonomic keyboard is in the back of my closet and I have absolutely no regrets.
Here are the instructions to disable the key without ripping it out:
NOTE: its some advanced stuff so be careful if you attempt to do this as if you mess up you can prevent your computer from being able to boot into windows and you may have to reformat and re-install windows.
