Interview with a Dark Elf 'Lady'
Erica Enquirer: Why did you choose a DE lady for your character?
DE (named 'Get'sAroundSally'): I like to role play my rl dreams
EE: You mean you wish you looked/acted like a DE in rl?
DE: No. It means that I look and act like a DE in rl, except my tan is brown, not blue.
EE: Oh? So you date a lot?
DE: If you want to call it 'date'. And what do you mean by "a lot?"
EE: What do YOU mean by a LOT?
DE: Several dates a week. <blushes and giggles>

So what is it with the current trend to litter? I have always tried to clean up Erica, but lately there is much more litter than I used to find. Several times a week recently I have come across whole fields just covered with refuse. It sometimes takes close to 20 or 30 minutes to pick it all up, once over 500k not counting mats. I think it has to do with the current trendiness of mages. If someone is a melee, you stand where the mob dies and click once to pick up. If your a mage, you don't bother to run to where the drops are. Which, of course, begs the question of why they don't need the money.
"People who cheat, who break the EULA, are by default Losers." A friend of mine made that statement recently. So I said, 'What do you mean by that S.R.P.?' (SRP stands for SelfRightiousPrig). If someone does ANYTHING to break the EULA, they have made the game easier for themselves. Therefore, Everything they have and everything they have accomplished is Tainted by the cheating. In SRP's opinion, which I share, this means that NOTHING that they do in-game counts. Cheaters are the pollen in the air we breathe...perhaps causing us to blow our noses but they are not a part of the Real L2 and Erica in which the honest people play.
Now Hear This. Erica softball league forming. Yes, you heard me right, the new mini-game that will come down the pike pre-C5 is softball. The games are truncated, only 5 innings long, seven person teams. You will be able to learn skills (batting, fielding, pitching, sliding, etc) and your con and dex will make a difference in how well you do. There will be tournaments, teams, and the teams will pay entry fees which will be given to top teams as prizes. I'm not sure, but I gather that there will be fields at every town where there is not an arena....watch for this and Play Ball!
Mob behavior changed last night....some passive mobs will now walk up to you and hit you twice then walk away. They tend to do this when you are near passive, social pals of theirs.
Ahhhh, it was so sweet! Spoiled a c-bsps and a b-bsps in the same spoil from the same mob. Want to know which one....watch for it in the next Erica Enquirer!
Postscript...semester business has kept the EE snoozing. Now that it is time to study for finals, this is more fun than studying!
