Farmer Down!

heh, I had a good experience with some farmers last night/early this morning.

I found a train of 6 or 7 of them and all but two had fallen in water and could not get out ^^. The two that were out of the water were dead. So I tried to rez one and lo and behold it accepted and then just stood there.

So I did what any self respecting Bounty Hunter would do; I trained him. Then I rezed him then I trained him then I rezed him then I soed to town and bough a lot more rez scrolls.

At the end of the lengthy grind for gear I had rezed and trained them each over 30 times (I figured I had used about 60 regular rez scrolls but probally a little more than 60). Those charaters gave me 2 C grade rings, 1 C grade earring, a +3 Theca Gaiters, RIP Gaiters, a D grade Helm, an Elven Earring, and 5 scrolls of escape. It was very late/early in the morning when I decided to go to bed and no one in my allaince was on that could train them.

I now carry a stash of rezes with me where ever I go. I hope they are on again tonight :-)

no, I didn't report them. I reported alot of them on another account I have and I have stoped reporting them for the most part after I found that I know someone that owns one that I reported - I reported it 5 or 6 months ago and he only uses it for his farmer party and uses it often - and it is still around. So, I donno what's up with how all of that reporting operates and I figured that these would still be here in 5 months from now so I may as well make the day hard for them.

You got lucky with some one that was doing a complete AFk group, and had his group set up for it.

Wanna do it again? Clear out all the mobs in the area by training them AWAY. Drop 1 mob in the water. Now train 1 mob past the bot train and they'll come after your 1 mob. Then they see the one in the water and go for it. Rez em and let em drown! Saves you from running all over the map for mobs.

****, I think I finaly found some uses for my useless Bounty Hunter.

Since when is a BH ever useless? If you don't spoil with them, they make one of the best anti-farmer/"auto-mated friends" classes.

Also, if you get some mobs to aggro your toon and then fake death, how do they start attacking your target? Can he be just standing there? I thought your target had to be fighting some mobs that are social. I'm used transferring aggroness with a combination of mob-placement and the unsummon button.

Most mobs spoil crap, the really good spoils are really, really rare. Cata room with good mat spoils are usually taken up by automatons or such.

Lack of fighting skill. At least a WS has golems he/she can summon if they get bored whacking stuff. When I played my BH, I found it fun for a while to use +4 Dual Swords then the typical Blunt + Shield combo.

Even in the Blunt+Shield combo the Stun skill is nearly useless as it lands maybe twice out of 10 attempts.

Class discussions in this thread though are neither here nor there, so I won't mention anything more about BH's here.

That's awesome. I wanted to be a bot killer, but you have just given bots new meaning in my eyes. :)

BHs are not useless, they are pretty good in C4 again.

Btw yesterday, me and another BH wiped all farmer parties in TOI lower floors on Teon. They didnt drop much, but there farmingbusiness was halted for quite some time^^
