I listen to so many tipes of music mostly related to my state of mind. After a hard day at work i usually go with some hard stuff so as to keep me awake... but many times i just hit random and let it play.
Recently i've been hitting the Apocalyptica collection.. dunno, Apocalyptica does Metallica by 6 cellos simply rocks :p.
Since the winter is finally over no more black metal or gothic, too melancholic. :) Medieval rock (of course) of the softer and rougher kind. Sometimes Ska and Surf-Rock but not at the moment, instead I'm enjoying very select few hip-hop artists.
Basically I'm not too much limited to a certain style... but as a general rule one could say: The less main-stream the better.
Not giving any details here because it's mostly local stuff thats probably not even sold where you live, but feel free to ask if you're interested. :p

Toby Keith's "Beer for my horses" and "courtesy of the red white and blue" have become the songs i play when starting a raid. "Warpigs" also works pretty well for me.
Well Music in Cats r pretty nice too...but Hunters OMG and Dion mmhhhmmm they r really nice I also enjoy this music from C3 Login screen It was the same music like in first l2 cinematic movie...

I listion mostly to trance music, but sometimes I like heavy metal and I've been geting into country. when I'm ingame usely I'm on vent if I got someone to talk to. but lately I've been to bessy to play.
must admet vent is wild and crazy, some odd stuff is said often.
I've been going thru my Mylene Farmer collection. Stuck with a couple of tracks from the Avant Que L'Ombre album.
"[Censored] them all" and "P*rno Graphique". Excelent tracks.
Oh, and the Final Fantasy 7 Advent children OST sound excelent while playing L2.

that's funny, im usually on ventrilo so im chatting it up while playing L2. Some weird and funny stuff goes on on that program.
lol I use vent too and it can be funny, I also listen to my other half (b/f) who sits right behind me, usually swaring at the bots and lag. Means I can't hear much of anything else :eek:
Pertaining to in-game music, I am surprised no one has commented about the boat ride music. If you have never heard it you gotta go for a trip.
Heavy stuff for me. Tool, Iced Earth, Therion, CoF, Motorhead, Disturbed, old school Metallica, old school AC/DC.
Then again I like my female voices singing to me as well; Lacuna Coil, The Gathering, Evanescense, LAB, Nightwish.
I like the soundtrack from Star Wars, A New Hope (episode 4).
The battle scene(s) music seems to go well with grinding, and
the overture is great when 1st starting the game or a mission.
The soundtrack from LOTR The Fellowship of the Ring is also good.
Usually I just leave the default music on though, or turn it down
a bit and have baseball on the TV.
P.S. I like the Moody Blues too! , and the music in Giran.
i never thought of playing music in the background - i have lag issues with my comp as it is although what would be uber cool is if they tried lineage radio in game if they are going to be playing music
Uh... I listen to the game BGM. It's pretty. I love Hunters Village theme. If I listened to something else, it would probably be Nightwish or Within Temptation, maybe Enya or celtic music from my country.
