Hello All, as will probably be able to tell from my questions I am new to this game. I love it but have a few noobie questions :)
I have searched for the answers here but have had no luck finding the answers I am looking for.
Q 1. Is it possible to transfer items, money etc... between different characters & servers?
Q 2. Is the fishing implemented yet & if so then where abouts are the fishing spots near Orc Village?
Q 3. Can any race craft items & what level can you start to craft at?
You can transfer items between characters on the same account on the same server using the Freightman in any warehouse. Cost is 1000a per item. You must pick up at the same freightman, same warehouse.
No transfers between servers...different servers are different worlds, totally unconnected.
Fishing is implemented. You can fish at any lake/stream/ocean that is deep enough to swim in (your breath bar appears when you go into it).
Dwarves are the only crafters. Scavengers/Bounty Hunters can only craft level 1. Artisans/Warsmiths can craft all the way up. Crafting is a complex and delightful part of the game if you are inclined towards that kind of thing. Most are not.
If you go to the 'Library' to your left as you read this, then to 'Races, Classes & Skills' you will find the levels needed for different crafting levels.

Yes and no. You can transfer between characters for a fee if they can reach the same location by using the "freight" system - but the freighted items have to be picked up at the warehouse where they were put in.
That means that no character from server B will ever trade with a character from server A - unless you arrange a cross-server trade, which is not only the finest way to get scammed out of your money, but also in breach of the EULA as far as I know.
Q 2. Is the fishing implemented yet & if so then where abouts are the fishing spots near Orc Village?
Yes, find the Fishing Guild Member NPC in town. Any water deep enough to trigger the breath gauge is good for fishing.
Q 3. Can any race craft items & what level can you start to craft at?
Any race can craft some basic items starting at level 1 (I think) and then later gaining more skills. All the really good crafting is dwarf only and starts at level 5, improving as you progress in level along the right profession tree (artisan > warsmith > maestro).

I do intend to craft when I get my Dwarf character to a higher level RumPunch. I think making things & trading / selling is 1 of the best parts of MMORPG's :)
If you like the market, let me implore you to learn the manor system and pick your server based on its set-up. A healthy manor is an indicator of a healthy market. :)
Unfortunately, not all players are nice - well, actually, the jerks are important too. Lineage II wouldn't be what it is without them! There are still plenty of helpful people though, just have to look for them. ;)
