I have a baby pet cougar. But the pet has such bad p.def, so it will die once it gets aggro. As far as I understand there is no armor for the baby pets.
But can u train skills? The baby cougar is gaining xp AND SP. What is the SP good for? I visited the Pet Manager but there was no "training option".
So please reply if u know any usefull hints? :D
So far no skills are trainable for pets (SP is completely unused right now).
Best solution is to part your cougar some place safe (relative term) and hunt in areas with no or few aggros. He will stay put until you need healing and then will run to you, heal and run back. Always keep plenty of pet brez scrolls on hand. Finally, realize that he will die. A lot.
I usually keep my pet beside me and don't let him attack anything and he still tets 10% of my exp and as long as you can hold arggo from doing the damage and only draw one monster at a time instead of a huge mob your pet should be ok at least so far it's worked for me :)
