this was not a plan of TL or GMB no matter how much you think or how much you believe chaos is dead/quitting/tired. unbeknown to the majority it is not INV that decides when the server can have fun, it's the rest of the server that decides when they can have fun. INV was instructed by GMB when they saw all the festivals with scores on them to stop what they were doing and get to the festivals. they did not want to lose and spent the entire day trying to salvage what was already lost.
we had all the lower festivals won and were losing only due to the no level limit not being won...as the time progressed seal stones were turned in and we were winning without needing the no level limit. we pushed on to ensure we would have victory and to show them we are more organized, dedicated and just plain out skill them.
we did just that, there was nothing ninja about seting up characters all week, posting scores friday night, all day saturday, all day sunday, and all day today.
ninja would have been if we did it all on monday without them noticing and having a chance to try to save it. you can buy into the TL/GMB propaganda if you want (though knowing the two of them the only one that could fathomably say something that stupid would be TL) but the fact remains, they were outclassed.
nVert, seems you forgot to mention chaos untagged alts going into the dawn festivals on monday to prevent mirage/invincible teams from doing so? I guess invincible retaliated using the same tactic later in the day (or so says blue wolves, and they're usually truthful). Still, pretty disgraceful for chaos to have to resort to such tactics to win. Ya'll probably could have won anyway, what with the outstanding performance by blue wolves. But its a posioned victory now. :(
i said gf last night, was a very impressive no limit score.
the strat chaos used i posted on my boards about 4 days ago, its a valid strat has been used in bartz and other servers, people dont seem to get it. L2 thrives on drama, thats why you can do basically anything in this game. any sorta of mental distress you can place on your enemy is a +++. Nj to chaos the moon always did look cool, long time since we saw it.
dawn wont have to many stones to turn in next period i need to change all mine into AA from dusk priestess so we will start of fresh once again. gg nj spicing it up.

It'd be cool. I went dusk for 4 or 5 months before i finally gave up. On the other hand people might be ****** at you guys for taking away their catas.

And who's to say that Dusk won't win next time? Really it comes down to Invincible vs. Chaos, who's going to do better at the festivals. To go for a castle you still need to beat the zerg. Still need more people to go against invin/Mirage. In the meantime SA>castle. For now

I didn't like the fact that an EE couldn't solo so I wanted a wizard type. And you know why I chose SpS instead of SH or Sorc? Because LEs are prettier. That's why I had an EE in the first place. What the hell does that have to do with FOTM? Nothing. Shallow? Silly? Girlish? Sure, but not FOTM.

catching people off guard was the plan, keeping it unnoticed was also the plan, ninja'ing was not the plan...ninja'ing in festivals involves last minute, no way to defend yourself kind of strategy. those who ARE our friends knew. Our ally knew, even aurorae knew before the merged.
Poorly put into place? How do you figure. We won. We are the ones who made the effort, made the teams, set the scores and won. There are stragglers within ally who may not know but there are circumstances to that. Letting everyone know clear as day is hard when you are trying to keep it on the down low while you prepare. Can't have the strat to block festivals happening early when we are perfecting our teams.
Teams are good now and because of the effort put forth through the week you saw the outcome of our work. Even with the blocking of our no level limit we were able to get in and continue to raise our score.
Dawn turned in everything they had troughout the week and the reserves that INV had were turned in as well. We turned in only a fraction of what we had when we were losing the no level limit earlier on monday and went back ahead.
I want to see your festival group, I really do, I'll put money on it I'll have a team better. Btw, who are you in game?

I actually believe this to be true, even if they had told people, most wouldn't think it possible to win DUSK and still go DAWN anyway.
I know monday afternoon when someone told me Dusk was winning the festival I didn't believe it much (I did register an ALT in Dusk anyway just to be sure), but when I re-logged in the game later Dusk had won.
Personnally, I'm happy to finally see the Dusk Moon.

I shared my sentiment on our boards but will share it here as well. Gratz Chaos to a job well done. It is nice to see a change every so often and it is indeed a long welcomed challenge to an otherwise boring part of the cycle on our server.
As for as any "ninja" concepts regarding the festivals, no active player can possibly believe it. Again the festivals were a job well done, but it was about as ninja as a glowing hero hiding behind a tree. I posted on our internal boards WEDNESDAY that you guys were doing festivals this week. Is it just random luck that GMB took a team to do no limit on Wednesday for the first time in ?9 months. We 100% knew you were going dusk.
Getting to the top is relatively easy. STAYING on top is what's hard. Apathy sets in. Our members lost interest. Me and GMB were not about to go to our members and beg them to do festivals. They didn't want to do them early in the week and weren't prepared to do them last minute. So again, gratz to you for a job well done.
We look forward to the next competition. If you take a castle and decide to go Dawn so be it. All we would ask is you take a REAL castle. If you take Dion or Gludio it would just look like you are avoiding the next competition. Disagree or agree, but that's how we would see it. gl

Funny how you still believe (or try to make people believe) that everything evolves around your alliance, that you set the pace of competition. You are on the reacting side now and will have to beat our scores, not vice versa.

Then you cry to Mirage for help and the numbers double and the siege is over. Would happen the same if Mirage was sieged.Want sieges. I know more then you think. I have been to them all. To a point your right. Chaos has Ninja'd castles from you before for a week at a time. Why, cause your numbers get spread thin and it can be done.
You say Aurura and Chaos just merged. OK 1 full alliance now. Still doesn't equal your full alliance and mirage as a full alliance.
Your smarter then that. Numbers win. Use them like you have. But don't act like your in deniel of this. YOu are smarter then that. 600>300 And I only need a 3rd grade education to know this.
the numbers obstacle can be overcome with good strat and coordination on siege day. when defending 2 weeks later tho, numbers > all. that is why there have been no sieges.
gratz to chaos for finally going dusk and wining it. The game should NOT allow anyone to go Dawn, unless you have a castle or belong to an ally with castle, PERIOD.

I think what is trying to be said is inv wants fun (ie seiges), Chaos wants fun (pwning inv) and 7 signs alows us to have our fun on OUR time and terms and inv get to sit around 8 hrs every other week bored cuz they don't know if we're gona hit them or not.
I'd rather be on the side making the plays, not the one waiting.
I'd like to think that if Dawn can manage a win next time that we would remain as dusk. We have the ability to win, I see no reason as to why we would change it up.
I'd prefer to let Invincible keep their castles as long as we are able to consistently win as Dusk. Castles have some very nice advantages and benefits, but I can't see it being as beneficial as what we have been able to do this week.
The thing is if you don't win next week it'll be hard to get people to help you. You all recall hwo everyone jsut went dawn as soon as they won their second set of competitions. I was all kinds of ****** (stayed dusk till like a week before i joined inv) but i can't force people not to be oportunistic pricks.
Well technically, anybody NOT in a castle holding alliance was supposed to go Dusk.
At the time half the server belonged to a "castle holding" alliance. Kinda killed the competition.
GG Chaos, the winds of change feels good and smells sweet.
Help from the rest of the server isn't going to be a huge factor. As always it will be mostly about festival scores - and both chaos and invincible alone are capable of scoring big in all categories. I'm looking forward to the change this will bring - it's going to be a toss up every week to see who wins. I think we're going to see a large number of people losing every week which despite what some may say I think is a good thing. Catacomb/Necro Populations will be down, and perhaps - just perhaps some of the newer players may actually be able to make adena at a rate equivalent to their levelling if they don't spend every moment in those dungeons - perhaps Cruma and DVC will start to see more life again!
Seven Signs is supposed to be a competition - there's no competition if no-one ever loses - which is the way it has been since early in C3 (except for the few who decided to stay dusk).
And while I did say that support from the rest of the server won't make a huge difference, I think it can certainly help, and would encourage everyone who picks a side to get over and do the festivals. If someone has a group that can rack up huge scores in a given level that's one less level the big ally on your side has to worry about switching to alts/subs for.
And finally - maybe, just maybe (although I highly doubt it) this might make a dent on the obscene amount of botting and powerlevelling that has been going on in most of the seven signs dungeons.

Yeah, but what they miss in their they find in other places.. this time. Maybe next week will put them all back in again but for the most part they are all crowding into the higher open places. This in no way has stiffled their powerlevelling business. It has just put them out in the open, like wall of argos. Can see quite a few respectable people out there in trains.
If NC weren't so stupid with the party-drop patch I would have been the new owner of a comp, blue wolf, and full plate armor. :(

wasn't that during the time when Invin didn't have the numbers? I may be mistaken, but didn't alot of them leave for other servers when things took a bit of a turn for the worst. In that case the numbers>all argument remains.

invincible didnt siege because they would get destroyed
maybe they could have ninjad a castle or 2 if they wanted to but they didnt, they didnt do anything for months
